We're proud to share a new sustainability initiative recently launched at RVX: starting in 2025, we’re planting one tree for every single VFX shot we deliver.🌱

Earlier this week, a group of RVXers headed into the Icelandic wilderness and planted nearly600 trees - each one representing a shot delivered so far this year. 🌲

Over time, these small saplings will grow into a forest - a living, breathing tribute to our digital craft. We’ll continue to add to it each year, ensuring our work makes a lasting, positive impact beyond the screen. 💚

From digital replicas of iconic U.S. political landmarks to a breathtaking lights-out sequence in downtown NYC, our team heightened the realism and authenticity of this gripping miniseries.🎬

🎥 RVX, the established VFX company based in Reykjavik, is looking for an experienced VFX Pipeline TD! 🌟

In this role, you will enhance and expand our existing pipeline infrastructure, ensuring the team is equipped to continue delivering world-class visual effects. 🌍✨

📍 Location:
This position is open to both in-person and remote candidates, but you must be based in Europe. 🗺️

🛠️ Essential Skills and Requirements:

🎞️ Previous experience in Visual Effects (minimum 3 years)
🐍 Excellent Python skills
🐧 Proficiency in Linux
🔄 Solid understanding of the Visual Effects pipeline
🖥️ Experience developing tools for DCC packages (e.g., Maya, Houdini, Nuke, or Gaffer)
🎯 Experience with Shotgun/Shotgrid/Flow
🖌️ Python UI design experience with QT-based frameworks (PySide)
🐛 Strong debugging, development testing, and problem-solving abilities

✨ Desirable Skills:

🗄️ Experience with production database systems
🖥️ Experience with C or C++
💻 Experience with Windows or MacOS development
🌐 Experience with Ayon
📦 Familiarity with USD
🎬 Experience with VFX Editorial
