Iceland landscapes 🌅

Day two exploring Iceland and we road tripped the golden circle, this country is like venturing out to another planet.

This is a true bucket list trip for us, I planned it all for toms Christmas present in the depths of burn out approaching December, knowing secretly I needed it too.

When we got to gullfoss and I saw the mountains and scenery I actually cried pure happy tears, cathartic is the best way to describe it.

I feel so lucky to experience this, and inspired to just see more of the world past our tiny bubble we live in at home.

Day 3 half term diaries (I’ve worked Tuesday & Thursday)- PUMPKIN PICKING!

The kids actually had so much fun- but I have to say I did feel it was quite extortionate, very busy, and everyone appeared to be there just to take photos as opposed to actually enjoying the experience… we tried to avoid that as much as possible bar a few little piccys.

we picked some pumpkins, had a coffee, queued a lot and then came home to carve them! 🎃🧡 no meltdowns and luckily no gift shop to face on the exit which id say is a firm win! I did have a disagreement with a man who queue jumped 🤣
