The Swell Season Official just released their first new album in 16 years! The artistic interplay between Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová sparks with an incendiary beauty on "Forward." Vocals sound at times haunted and delicate, at others, fiery and implacable. The melodies have a similar stirring quality: Just as you feel lulled by the gentle loveliness of the folksy sounds, an underlying fervor brings barely restrained intensity.
