I walked into Goodwill in Everett, WA today with a strong urge to waltz myself directly to the furniture section…. And I instantly discovered why: this baby. $30 bucks and entirely flawless 😍 so I bought it. Wish me luck for when my husband gets home… he said no more furniture until we finish unpacking our new place but I just needed the right motivation lol!

Hello everyone!
I was thrifting in a charity shop a few days ago and i stumbled upon a dusty box with a broken bottom, upon inspection i realised it was quite ancient and valuable. It only cost me 3€. It's a 19th century brass reliquary box with beveled glass walls... The cushion was covered up with 1970's sticky vinyl, i had to pop the bottom off and delicately unwrap it but the silk is badly damaged and i might restore it eventually. This is such a gorgeous object and it's quite rare to find for so cheap! Right now it's housing my Art Nouveau sterling silver chatelaine powder box

Not really weird but… My local thrift shop has a room with all of their discounted things. All of the things that they’ve had for a while but haven’t sold.
I walked in there the other day to kill some time. I walked out sad because I fell in love with this blanket and had no cash on me. Sure I could make it myself but i felt like it deserved to be loved. Someone put their time and love into making it.
Today I stopped by their back door. They set out boxes ever day of the things that they have held in their discount store for too long or things they don’t want to sell. Not many people know about the back door but I stop by every day. I’m strapped for cash and I’ve found some life savers in there.
I didn’t even look through the boxes today. I saw this baby on top of the boxes and knew it was meant to be. She’s home with me where she belongs now.

While cleaning out my grandparent’ house, I found my grandma’s luggage. Still had her tag attached from her last trip to Hawaii. I know these avacado green samsonite luggage sets were very popular in their time. They now reside in my closet 😂😁

Rainbow Brite kitchen set I saw at a kids consignment sale today. I loved Rainbow Brite when I was little, made me so nostalgic! $25 and $35 for each piece. Seemed to be made of tin? Interesting! Didn’t come home with me though.
