per Aspera ad Astra The aim of the label is to connect themes such as the universe and spirituality with art, music and symbology.

Astrophone Records is an Italian independent label born in 2016 as an artistic project by Raffaele D’Ascanio and Matteo Basso, founders of electronic duo Risico. For this, Astrophone wants to create an innovative concept, both musically and graphically, allowing artists to express themselves and create their own imprint, without forgetting the trends on the electronic landscape. The label is open

to both digital and vinyl releases, focussing on the research of innovative ways of recording with new instruments and formats. Although Astrophone’s attitude doesn’t fit into a particular musical genre, it is influenced by Detroit and Berlin techno, deep house and acid house. Astrophone Records nasce in Italia nel 2016 come Label indipendente e prodotto artistico di Raffaele D’Ascanio e Matteo Basso, fondatori del progetto Risico. Il moniker della label punta a unire temi spirituali legati all’universo e al creato con la tangibilità e bellezza dell’arte, della musica e della simbologia. Il punto di partenza è quindi quello di costruire un concept innovativo sia dal punto di vista musicale che dal punto di vista grafico, dando libero sfogo a un roster di artisti italiani e stranieri determinati a creare una propria personale impronta, senza ovviamente disdegnare le più interessanti proposte e tendenze del panorama elettronico attuale. Sia dal punto di vista musicale che della distribuzione, la label è aperta al mondo digitale tanto quanto a quello analogico, ricercando l’innovazione attraverso l’uso di più studi di registrazione e una continua ricerca ed utilizzo di nuovi strumenti e supporti. L’attitudine artistica dei diversi componenti non costringe Astrophone a definirsi in un determinato genere, individuando però come influenze principali la techno di Berlino e Detroit, la deep house e l’acid house.

Great autumn news from Astrophone Records, with two important highlights: the first track from our Danja Uosh (feat. Madmat Loves Juno) and the artwork by Claudio Arezzo Di Trifiletti, an eclectic Sicilian artist who works around the world to bring peace and his love for Art.
His art is "involuntary" and made by his soul.
The "Imprints" is his technique , people walk on his canvas (on the floor) and left a part of them soul on it.
Icelands EP is a deep trip with glitch influences and is something news for Astro sound, a walking into unexplorated lands. Grab this, it's perfect for long warm up with closed eyes.

Here's another Astro release from our "Elum", back with his deep and hypnotic style. Both tracks are on a minimal and glitchy path. "Hexagon" is more dark and similar to his style, a trip that follow you from the begin to the end. "Secret Wooden Space" have in the middle a synth that roll on up and down and go on like a melodic electronic techno bomb.
MadMat Loves Juno creates deep and techno atmospheres by Elum with two groovy house remixes like two sides of the same soul. This is an ep for every hour of your night.

Here's the time for an extra special release taken from the last VARIOUS ARTIST, with 3 great remixes; it's Starbound from Lorenzo Delfino and Solotundra. In this pack you can find again the original mix, plus 3 reinterpretation from Dario Aiello (Nutype), that you can remember for a release on Mistress Label of DVS1, THE DOLPHINS from Dubfire's Scitec and our Danja Uosh, always on top there if groove is needed.
