🧬 The 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 – 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀, 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗨𝗽𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, organized within the framework of the European project 𝗧𝗪𝗜𝗡𝟰𝗕𝗜𝗢, has successfully come to an end.
For three days, the 𝘋𝘦𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘉𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘤𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴, 𝘉𝘪𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘩𝘯𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘌𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 of the 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙖𝙧𝙞 𝘼𝙡𝙙𝙤 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙤 welcomed around 60 students, researchers, professionals, and academics from several European countries, turning Bari into an international hub for scientific exchange and innovation.
From CRISPR technologies to metabolic engineering, from genome mining to artificial cells, and including plastic bio-upcycling strategies, the Summer School provided a high-level educational experience thanks to the contribution of internationally renowned speakers and researchers.
Participants expressed great satisfaction with the scientific quality of the lectures, the networking opportunities, and the collaborative atmosphere that characterized the entire event.
This experience confirmed the value of research as a driver of innovation and sustainability, as well as the increasingly important role of the University of Bari and the 𝗧𝗪𝗜𝗡𝟰𝗕𝗜𝗢 project in training the next generation of scientists and professionals committed to addressing the challenges of the future.
