I thought Kravica Waterfall would be a quick photo stop… 💦

Instead, I ended up wishing I had planned an entire day here. 🤍

Crystal-clear water, peaceful nature, swimming, and a restaurant with surprisingly affordable food—what more could you ask for?

📍If you’re visiting Bosnia & Herzegovina ,don’t make the mistake of rushing this place. Trust me, 2–3 hours isn’t enough.

🚨 Don’t make these Kravica Waterfall mistakes! Save this before your trip. 🇧🇦

1. Don’t forget your Crocs or flip-flops. 👣
Trust me on this one. I ended up walking down in my socks because I didn’t have any other option. Walking barefoot wasn’t possible either—the rocks were too rough and my feet started hurting almost immediately.

2. Don’t jump straight into the water. 🥶
Give yourself a minute to adjust! The water is *freezing*—even in the middle of summer. It feels like a complete shock at first, but once you get used to it, it’s so refreshing.

3. Bring cash (and a €1 coin). 💶
You’ll need €1 per person for the mini train that takes you down to the waterfall. If you’re traveling with a baby or a stroller like we were, the train is definitely worth it. Also, many hotel restaurants and smaller places prefer cash, so don’t rely only on your card.

4. Arrive early. 🌿
Want those dreamy photos without hundreds of people in the background? Get there early. The crowds build up quickly, especially during summer.

5. Don’t plan just 2–3 hours. ⏳
This was my biggest mistake. I thought a couple of hours would be enough, but I could have easily spent the entire day there—swimming, relaxing, and soaking up the views.
