We booked a guide and horses and ran off horse riding into the hills above Jyrgalan. neither of us are confident on horses, so we were ready to hold on tight!

On the way back from the yurt camp, we went to look for the hidden hot springs. To get there we needed to walk on a small path along the hills. They're small but beautifully arranged.

Hiking to Altyn Ashran in September. A beautiful warm day but not too hot and a late start. We followed the four wheel drive track for 15 km up through amazing alpine scenery. We even saw an eagle on the way!
