A pleasure to introduce you to our artistic project number sixty-eight within the label.

From Frigento, Italy Tommaso N**o

Tommaso has always been captivated by the enchanting world of sound and being able to delve into music. Through his creative endeavors, he constantly strives to create immersive soundscapes, weaving stories that can be developed and told through music.

At the same time that he works producing new music, he is the co-founder of the Italian label BCA records together with Francesco di Gianni and Giovanni Pennetta.

In the words of the artist the album "Go Through" is a mental walk and soundtrack in the middle of a mysterious and densely wooded forest. He intends the viewer to enter into the resonance of objects that come to life at every step.

Here, plants and animals blend seamlessly with the landscape, transforming everything into a melodic symphony, a musical tapestry without limits where the line between dream and reality dissolves into the invisible.

Already on its way for the third day of February is Ctafad's upcoming release through Black Chrysalis Archives. From this EP, we selected Tommaso N**o's remix of the track Dissociate, one of the two original creations on the list. During its six-and-a-half-minute course, there is an ever-present, clean tapping which, at first, encapsulates and decorates a mild, restrained groove. By maintaining its rhythmic consistency, the pounding supports its "allegiance" to the track's nocturnal vibes. These, then, introduce themselves as the track's main act, paving the road over fragments of lightly distorted noise. The firm bassline, which appears next, echoes to the far reaches of an alluring background atmosphere that comes and goes like sea waves on the shoreline. As for the closure, the pace slowly calms itself and walks away from the previous elemental dance.

We are very glad to share the debut album of Subpneuma (Demetris Castaneda, our co-founder) on BCA, that is out today on main digital stores. 🦋

"the album is called aerəa and is the fifth chapter of BCA Larva Series. it took over three years since the first takes were recorded. it is an hybrid work, realized with modular and digital equipment, field recordings and drums out of an Acidlab Drumatix.

an enormous thank you to my BCA partner Tommaso N**o for all the time spent together in his studio in Naples (Studio Belém) to arrange recordings and give life to the mix, to Giovanni Roma for the mastering work, to Monument for featuring the première and to my brother Aureliano for the amazing photographs of the paleolithic sculpture realized by Pietrantonio Arminio, laying down in via forno giardino (Bisaccia), the street, now uninhabitated, where I learned to be a child and where some of the field recordings were taken.
