The first graduate from our podcast - our lovely Chelsea!! 💐

Italian graduations are so much fun. Instead of caps, we wear laurel wreaths, a tradition dating back to Roman times 🏛 And instead of hours-long ceremonies with the whole class, we graduate as individuals the day we present our thesis to the committee. We celebrated Chelsea with a photo shoot, lunch at , and karaoke at 🍕🎶

So proud of her and looking forward to Taylor and Elli's turns, as well as the content we have coming your way!

Ciao amici, we're alive!! 🫶
If there's one thing we've learned starting a podcast while in grad school, it's this - it is HARD to start a podcast while in grad school! We haven't even seen a lot of each other, lately, but we finally got to chat at ' birthday party, and you *know* ideas for future episodes came up 🎤

Bologna Beat 🚶‍♂️🚶🚶‍♀️ Weekend Walks

On the weekends, Bologna is a pedestrian's world more than at any other time. You can just walk right down the middle of Via Ugo Bassi/Via Rizzoli without a care in the world, or at least without a care of cars 🚗 You can also enjoy the occasional musician or vendor. In our opinion, it's a great time to take pictures of the Two Towers since you can get it nice and centered. Bellissimo 🤌

Ah, Monday... back to school! One of our favorite places at the Palazzo Hercolani, where our department is housed, is the private garden in the back 🌳 It's the perfect place to study or have lunch with friends between classes.
