Our documentary-in-progress GRAND-POPO, directed by Nuno Escudeiro, is currently being filmed on the shores of Benin.
This is a poignant story of collective memory, resistance, community, spirits, and climate change told together with the people of Grand-Popo and Gbècon.
The team - Nuno Escudeiro, Evraid Amoussou, Iván Castiñeiras, Nikolaus von Schlebruegge, and Ricardo Leal - has been filming on location for the past several weeks.
Here’s a glimpse behind the scenes. More to come as the project unfolds.
