Eugenio Sambasile is one of those musicians you simply can’t put in a box. A guitarist, singer, composer and teacher, he was born artistically in the world of extreme metal, but over time he has developed a much broader musical vision - one that ranges from death metal to rock, from blues to touches of country. This versatility has become his trademark.
Founder and leader of EMBRYO, one of the most solid names in Italian melodic death metal, Sambasile has performed across Europe, sharing the stage with major international artists. His technical credibility has also led him to collaborate in educational settings with top‑tier musicians such as Marty Friedman and George Kollias, further cementing his reputation as a skilled, curious and ever‑evolving artist.
In recent years he has embarked on a solo journey that highlights his most personal and introspective side. Songs like “Fragments Of Light” explore intense emotional themes (emotional vampirism, deceit, toxic relationships), transformed into music through a direct and cathartic language.
