Eugenio Sambasile says: “Lies, deceit, subterfuge, and betrayal - ‘Fragments Of Light’ is almost a cathartic release about emotional vampirism. It addresses an all-too-relevant theme of people who feed off your energy until they completely drain you, only to move on.”

Eugenio Sambasile is an Italian musician, guitarist, music teacher, and composer. He is the founder and leader of the death metal band, Embryo, for which he is currently composing a new album. He’s performed live on stages across Europe with some of the most prominent artists in the industry. Moreover, he has collaborated with internationally renowned musicians such as Marty Friedman and George Kollias at educational events and seminars. His musical interests range from extreme metal to rock, blues, and country, showcasing his versatile influences.

Singer/guitarist Mirko Di Bella states: "An alluring femme fatale, draped in a crimson cloak. A vision that appeared to me radiant, like a fragment of a dream. I couldn’t say where it came from; I only know I was instantly captivated. I then decided to build an entire song around her, whose lyrics form, in fact, a short gothic tale. “Short” might not be the right word, considering it’s the longest track on the album: more than nine minutes of darkness, seduction, and damnation."

“On The Path Of The Morning Star” was released on July 4, 2025, with digital distribution handled by Believe and physical distribution by Plastic Head Music Distribution.

Guitarist Christian Balsamo shares his thoughts: "Aquelarre takes its name from a Basque word meaning “the meadow where the goat grazes,” an animal once revered as a symbol of fertility. Over time, the term came to represent the witches’ sabbath in all its dark, magical glory. The lyrics dive into this world: nocturnal gatherings, flying ointments, sacrifices, frenzied dances, and curses cast on crops and weather alike. Musically, the track kicks off with a hammering riff that drives into tight, melodic verses. The bridge offers a brief escape, with synths weaving a seductive melody, before the chorus hits with the obsessive chant: “come to the sabbath!” A theatrical passage brings the witches’ words to life as they summon the infamous Walnut Tree of Benevento, site of legendary sabbaths. The build-up to the solos – and the solos themselves – evoke the wild, spinning dance of witches under the Devil’s gaze."
