Iāve run (and filmed) the New York City Marathon!
It wasnāt supposed to happen, but it happened.
I wasnāt trained enough for that, but I did it.
I wasnāt born made for this, but I did it.
I think that some of the biggest realization after this challenge have been:
- If you wait to be ready for something, youāll never be ready.
- And even if the 1st sentence may seems to be obvious, it is not. And the most important thing is that, THINGS will still happens, being you ready or not. So, if you havenāt prepared yourself enough to face them, if you havenāt trained enough to challenge them, at least have a mind ready to follow your body on that.
- When your body says āstopā, listen to your mind and heart and find what is your real limit.
- Life and marathon share so many aspects and you realize that only when you are there, running.
- It doesnāt matter how much youāve trained, as in life, in a marathon unexpected happens, and your training wonāt make you avoid them, but will prepare you to face and react in the best way possible.
- The limits we have set in ourselves are 99% born from our fears.
This is another step to the best version of me, and Iām glad and honored to have shared each step with . Thanks for challenging me on that day and in the past years, making me doing some of the most powerful experiences of my life while doing what I feel Iām called to do in my life, telling stories though my camera, Iām thankful our paths crossed years ago. To this and more amazing experiences.
Thanks to and for letting me living that day while being sure of the team outside doing a crazy effort to shoot this day.
Thanks to my inspiration on the training, strength and thought when things were going hard, youāve run that with me š
Thanks to all the amazing souls on this trip that shared with us part of this path who crossed the line with us who run with us for a while and who, secretly, helped me on the small train I did.
Now itās time to train for the next one š„
