📚Presentato a Milano il Manifesto per la lettura promosso da Ali, l’Associazione Librai Italiani aderente a Confcommercio.

“L’Italia è tra gli ultimi Paesi in Europa per numero di lettori. La lettura è un’urgenza culturale. È ora di passare dalle parole ai fatti, con strumenti, risorse e visione”: è questo, in sintesi, il messaggio condiviso nel documento.

Al centro del Manifesto, già sottoscritto da vari autori e librai, i principi fondamentali per una nuova stagione di politiche per la lettura: dal riconoscimento del ruolo chiave del libraio all’interno delle scuole come consulente culturale alla necessità di investimenti reali e continui, soprattutto per le biblioteche civiche e scolastiche; dall’esigenza di contrastare la svalutazione socio-economico-culturale del libro all’adozione di linguaggi innovativi per coinvolgere le giovani generazioni.

Il documento sarà oggetto di una campagna di sottoscrizione pubblica e collettiva aperta ad autori, librai, operatori e cittadini (link per firmare sui siti di Ali e Confcommercio).

Illustrati inoltre i dati dell’Osservatorio sulle Librerie in collaborazione con Format Research che hanno restituito un quadro in chiaroscuro per il settore: clima di fiducia e ricavi in calo rispetto al 2024 e, anche se è previsto un miglioramento nella seconda parte del 2025, i valori resteranno inferiori all'anno scorso.

Paolo Ambrosini, presidente Ali Associazione Librai Italiani Confcommercio: “La lettura è un bene comune e le librerie rappresentano un patrimonio culturale insostituibile per le comunità e, soprattutto, per i giovani. Il Manifesto sostiene la necessità di politiche lungimiranti, investimenti concreti, meno burocrazia insieme ad una vera e propria alleanza per la promozione e il supporto alla lettura e a chi mantiene viva la cultura e l’importanza del libro. Perché, come anche i dati del nostro Osservatorio sulle Librerie ci dicono chiaramente, le librerie resistono e si reinventano ma non possono essere lasciate sole”.

Nel cinquantesimo anniversario della tragica scomparsa di Pier Paolo Pasolini, un’occasione unica per riflettere sull’ultima notte del grande intellettuale italiano attraverso la presentazione del libro "L'ultima notte di Pasolini", scritto da 𝐏𝐚𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐢, 𝐍𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐳𝐳𝐢𝐭𝐚 e 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐨 𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐨, edito da Runa Editrice.

L’opera ricostruisce con rigore e sensibilità i fatti legati all’omicidio di Pasolini, offrendo nuove chiavi di lettura e approfondimenti che intrecciano testimonianze, indagini e analisi forensi.

🎤 Ospite dell’incontro sarà 𝐏𝐚𝐨𝐥𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐢, autore del libro, documentarista e regista, che dialogherà con il pubblico e racconterà il lungo lavoro di ricerca dietro questa inchiesta storica e culturale.

L’evento si inserisce nel programma della Biennale Internazionale d’Arte della Riviera Romana, in un contesto in cui letteratura, arte e memoria si fondono per celebrare e interrogare il nostro patrimonio culturale.
