Fruit custard recipe 🍇🍇🍇🍇

Ingredients

* 500 ml (2 cups) milk
* 2 tbsp vanilla custard powder
* 3 tbsp sugar (as per taste )
* 1 apple, sliced
* 1 banana, sliced
* 1 mango (or seasonal fruit)
* 8/10 strawberries, chopped
*
* ½ cup grapes, halved
* 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
* 1 tbsp chopped almonds
* 1 tbsp chopped pistachios

Instructions

1. Prepare the custard mixture
* In a small bowl, mix the custard powder with 3–4 tbsp cold milk to make a smooth paste without lumps.
2. Boil the milk
* Heat the remaining milk in a saucepan.
* Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
3. Cook the custard
* Reduce the heat to low.
* Slowly pour in the custard paste while stirring continuously.
* Cook for 3–5 minutes until the mixture thickens slightly.
4. Cool and chill
* Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
* Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours Till chilled.
5. Add fruits
* Just before serving, add the chopped fruits and mix gently.
* Garnish with pomegranate seeds, almonds, and pistachios.
6. Serve
* Serve chilled for the best flavor and texture.
