🔥 𝗚𝗶𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗽𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻
(Palmanova, 1762 – Milano, 1844)
𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗼, olio su tavoletta, 22x29 cm.

🎬Trascorsi molti anni della sua carriera a Venezia, dove era divenuto socio onorario dell'Accademia nel 1824, ormai sessantenne, Bison si trasferì a Milano nel 1831.

Qui, abbandonata l'attività di frescante e scenografo, continuò infaticabilmente a disegnare e a dipingere quadri di piccolo formato: '𝘕𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘤𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘭'𝘰𝘻𝘪𝘰, 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘷𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘦𝘨𝘭𝘪 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪 𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘭𝘪 𝘥𝘪 𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘰, 𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘰 𝘵𝘳𝘢 𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘦, 𝘢𝘭 𝘱𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘥𝘰 𝘭𝘶𝘮𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘭𝘶𝘤𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘢, 𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘢𝘷𝘢 𝘴𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘻𝘻𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰 𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯 𝘭𝘢 𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯 𝘭𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘢, 𝘴𝘶𝘨𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪 𝘷𝘢𝘳𝘪 𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘴𝘪' (G. A Milano Bison si dedica alla trascrizione di una vita di strada minore ponendosi sulla 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗽𝗶𝘁𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗱𝗶 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝗴𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿𝗮. Luoghi e situazioni vengono così a evocare occasioni quotidiane, in cui figure di realtà cittadina si sostituiscono al suo consueto repertorio di popolani, cavalieri e contadini.

🔝 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮' 𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗮, 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶 𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗶 che rammentano la 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗶 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗼 𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶 di cui il 𝗽𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝘂 𝗱𝗲𝗴𝗻𝗼 𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲.

After spending many years of his career in Venice, he moved to Milan in 1831.
Here, abandoning his work as a fresco painter and set designer, he tirelessly continued to draw and paint small paintings.
In Milan, Bison devoted himself to capturing the everyday life of the streets, following the same lines as Migliara's genre painting.
Freedom of expression, rapid, darting brushstrokes recall the great tradition of Canaletto and Guardi, of which the painter was a worthy heir.

🎬A Venezia Bison aveva potuto conoscere 𝗜𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗼 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗮, 𝗶 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶 𝗲 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗶, 𝗣𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗶; 𝘁𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗶 𝗲𝗯𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘇𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹'𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗼 𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼.

Ma, oltre che dalla conoscenza dell'arte contemporanea, la sua formazione si compie assimilando la 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘇𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮, e perciò, pur vivendo in pieno neoclassicismo e non estraniandosi dai movimenti artistici più aggiornati, egli si palesa, quale affreschista e quale pittore di vedute e ritratti, un epigono del Settecento.

In Venice, Bison had the opportunity to meet Jacopo Guarana, the Guardi brothers and Michele Marieschi, Pietro and Alessandro Longhi; all of whom played a key role in the development of his taste.

But beyond his knowledge of contemporary art, his education was shaped by his assimilation of the great Venetian tradition. Thus, despite living amid Neoclassicism and not alienating himself from the most up-to-date artistic movements, he reveals himself, as a fresco painter and painter of views and portraits, as an imitator of the eighteenth century.

🎬Reso con 𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗲 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗮 𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗲, il dipinto raffigura un gruppo di ninfe disposto con studiata armonia in primo piano; sullo sfondo, le figure in acqua e altre intente al dialogo introducono una delicata narrazione.

Il dipinto unisce l’interesse settecentesco per il capriccio architettonico di derivazione veneta all’eleganza formale e umanistica dell’Ottocento neoclassico, caratteristica distintiva di Bison.

Egisto Lancerotto belongs to the "Venetian School", that group of artists trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice who embraced the Tuscan influences of the Macchiaioli, interpreting them with typically Venetian coloristic approaches and focusing primarily on genre themes. Artists such as Guglielmo Ciardi, Giacomo Favretto, Alessandro Milesi, and Ettore Tito are among them.

He has exhibited in various exhibitions, both nationally – Venice, Turin, Ferrara, Florence, Verona, Palermo, Rome – and internationally – Paris, London, Antwerp, Munich, Nice, Vienna, and Chicago.

🔥“Fare l'antiquario significa girare il mondo, conoscere gente interessante, andare alla ricerca di un oggetto. Ogni volta che si trova un oggetto è un po' come una rinascita, non vediamo l'ora di metterlo a posto, di ridargli massimo il splendore.
Io mi sono dedicato ai tappeti di alta epoca e quindi sono sempre alla ricerca di pezzi più antichi, pezzi più rari, che compro innanzitutto per me, per arricchirmi, perché mi piacciono, perché li seguo con grande attenzione, ma poi li propongo al pubblico, perché per continuare a comprare sono costretto a vendere qualche pezzo, anche se alle volte mi dispiace.”

I've dedicated myself to fine antique rugs, so I'm always on the lookout for older and rarer pieces, which I buy first and foremost for myself, to enrich myself, because I like them, because I follow them with great attention, but then I offer them to the public, because to keep buying, I'm forced to sell some pieces, even though sometimes I feel sorry.”

👉La Galleria svolge da anni attività di ricerca anche su artisti considerati "minori" in collaborazione con studiosi ed esperti inglesi, tedeschi, olandesi e francesi dove il settore animalier è maggiormente diffuso. Recentemente alcune opere presenti in galleria sono entrate a far parte della 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗵𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻, una raccolta di dipinti raffiguranti alcuni soggetti importanti per la storia dell'allevamento del Cavallo sportivo di razza Trakenher.

La Galleria inoltre mantiene 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶 𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗶 𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗮' 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗲 specializzate nel genere in quanto l'attività di studio ed aggiornamento rappresenta la principale passione per garantire ai collezionisti ed appassionati opere uniche ed autentiche.
