Wir gratulieren dem italienischen Kreativstudio mammasONica herzlich zum Gewinn des LIT AWARD in der Kategorie Light Art Project für ihre beeindruckende Arbeit "Ghostpoets – Stelenweg"!

Im Rahmen der Kunstfestival Genius Loci Weimar haben sie den Stelenweg der Gedenkstätte Buchenwald in neuem Licht erstrahlen lassen. Die audiovisuelle Installation verband dabei künstlerische Tiefe mit technischer Präzision und bot eine eindrucksvolle Auseinandersetzung mit Traumata und Heilung in bezug auf das Schicksal von Häftlingen im Konzentrationslager Buchenwald.

Dieses Projekt war ein Highlight unseres Jahres 2024, und wir danken allen Beteiligten für die kluge, sensible und nachhaltige Umsetzung an diesem besonderen Ort.

We returned to for a unique edition of the festival at the Buchenwald Memorial.The seven relief stelae, which stand as silent witnesses to both the inhumanity and the resilience of the human spirit, radiated along a path extending over 200m of the Memorial site.

Here are the first glimpses of “Ghostpoets”, an immersive light and sound experience that transformed these memories into a vivid exploration of trauma and healing.

mammasONIca goes back to Weimar, 3rd time winning selection at Genius Loci Weimar.

"GHOSTPOETS" will be present from August 30th to September 1st for this year very special edition at the Buchenwald Memorial.

Following Zoetropolis's recognition, mammasONica sensitively undertakes another significant project, paying tribute to the area's historical memory. GHOSTPOETS will transform the 7 stelae into a journey from trauma to healing, guiding visitors from darkness to light, despair to hope.
