I'm so happy and proud to hold this record.
I crossed ways with DEAD KIWIS more than once over the last 10 years, and their music and intense live shows always impressed me and made my jaw drop every time.
Today "EXTREME METAL" is out, somehow to show everybody that playing uncompromising heavy music with such a relentless fury is still possible if not indispensable.

A marzo uscirà un disco a cui mi sono molto affezionato.
Un disco spontaneo e urgente e per questo sofferto e sentito ma anche coraggioso: questa è musica estrema slegata da rigidi canoni di genere, libera di esprimersi e di scorrere in modo istintivo, sciabordando e straripando entro e al di fuori di margini attesi o immaginari. Vedrà la luce dopo un lungo travaglio durante il quale la band ha optato per abbandonare il cantato in inglese favore della propria lingua madre, l’italiano.
I VOLTA sono autori di un post hardcore che affonda le radici nello screamo per un suono compatto e immateriale allo stesso tempo - che scorre, per l’appunto - e sfugge pur lasciando il segno. Ecco il significato personale che do ad un titolo così ermetico eppure così chiaro per me: Nessun Luogo, Né Acqua.
