Loved exploring Rhodes old town. Stunning buildings, charming cobblestone streets and cute shops made for a fun morning adventure before the heat became too much.

📍 Rhodes, Greece

Visiting the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes. Highly recommend going - the exhibition was detailed and the interiors are gorgeous. My 8 year-old loved it.
Adults - about €20 each, kids enter free

Postcards from beautiful Cascáis - a short 30-minute drive up the coast from Lisbon. It’s easy to see how this has become such a popular spot for expats. It’s pretty and quaint and the community spirit was obvious as we wandered around town.

Loved our first Sant Jordi in Barcelona. Sant Jordi is Spain’s answer to Valentine’s Day. On Sant Jordi women are gifted roses and the men, a book.

The streets were warm with the recent arrival of spring and roses everywhere - sold on street corners, hanging on buildings and being carefully carried by men everywhere.

Stalls were set up in the city centre with authors seated for signings and vendors selling a range of titles in Castellano and Catalan.
