SIGN THE PETITION: SUSPEND THE EU-ISRAEL TRADE AGREEMENT. STOP THE GENOCIDE.

Right now in Gaza, people are being bombed, starved, and killed. Over 54,000 people have died — most of them civilians. Children are dying from hunger. Families are being shot while trying to get food. Hospitals are being destroyed.

And while this happens, the EU still has a trade deal with Israel — worth nearly 16 billion euros a year in exports. This deal is supposed to be based on respecting human rights. Clearly, human rights are being broken.

But there’s hope. The EU is reviewing if the human rights clause of the agreement is being respected right now. If enough of us raise our voices, we can help suspend the deal, stop supporting this violence and pressure Israel to stop the genocide.

🐾 “Gunner voleva solo tornare a casa… ma nessuno lo ha ascoltato.”

Gunner non era un cane randagio.
Non era un cane senza casa.
Non era un cane abbandonato…
era un vecchio amico che amava la sua famiglia con tutta l’anima.

Aveva 13 anni, e anche se l’età a volte lo confondeva, il suo cuore enorme desiderava solo tornare nel posto a cui apparteneva.

La notte in cui si smarrì, vagò spaventato per strade sconosciute, guardando tutti con quegli occhietti stanchi che in silenzio chiedevano:
“Mi aiutate a tornare a casa?”

Il giorno dopo lo trovarono…
ma non furono mani amiche a raccoglierlo,
bensì funzionari del canile, dove nessuno chiese chi fosse, né aspettò per dargli una seconda possibilità.

Gunner non poteva spiegare che era un cane amato,
che dormiva ai piedi del letto dei bambini,
che a Natale riceveva un regalo sotto l’albero.

Non poteva dire che da cucciolo seguiva ovunque il suo padrone,
né che da vecchio sognava ancora una passeggiata al tramonto con chi amava.

Per paura, Gunner tremava e si faceva la p**ì addosso…
non per malattia,
non per aggressività.
Solo per terrore, confusione e solitudine.

Sono bastate meno di 24 ore per decidere che la sua vita non valeva la pena di essere vissuta.
Meno di 24 ore per cancellare 13 anni di amore e lealtà.

Nel frattempo, a casa, la sua famiglia lo cercava disperatamente.
La sua mamma pubblicava foto sui social sperando in un miracolo,
i bambini chiedevano di lui ogni minuto,
e il papà percorreva tutte le strade per riportarlo a casa.

Hanno chiamato ogni canile, chiesto in ogni rifugio…
finché finalmente scoprirono che si trovava proprio lì,
dove mai avrebbe dovuto finire.

La mattina seguente, quando arrivarono per portarlo a casa,
non trovarono Gunner ad aspettarli,
non ci fu un ultimo abbraccio né un ultimo addio.

Trovarono solo una porta fredda
e la notizia che li avrebbe distrutti per sempre:
“Lo abbiamo addormentato ieri.”

Così, senza dare alla sua famiglia il tempo di ritrovarlo,
Gunner è morto da solo e spaventato,
in un luogo dove nessuno lo ha amato
e dove nessuno ha saputo ascoltare il suo cuore stanco e vecchio.

💔 Oggi alziamo la voce per Gunner
e per tutti quei cani che, come lui,
non hanno avuto la possibilità di tornare a casa.

Perché nessuna vita dovrebbe spegnersi in un angolo freddo,
prima di ricevere un ultimo abbraccio.

Perché ognuno di loro porta nel cuore un amore immenso
che merita di essere rispettato e onorato…
fino all’ultimo respiro.

Se questa storia ti ha spezzato il cuore come l’ha spezzato a noi,
condividila per sensibilizzare.

Per Gunner, e per tutti quelli che aspettano in silenzio che qualcuno li ascolti… prima che sia troppo tardi.

This project is my first album as a leader/composer/arranger and producer, and I'm beyond excited to share it with you.
It's the result of a couple of years of hard work in my studio and I imagine its music to describe the interaction between people, big cities, and open lands. Besides, I was fortunate enough to have a great band making my ideas come true in the studio.

During the next period I will be posting a lot more details: videos, teasers and snippets, photos, descriptions of the tunes, and, of course, the tunes themselves!

Great thanks go to the man himself Petros Klampanis and his label ΠΚmusic for publishing my music, supporting independent artists and helping me practically with everything (!!!!!!), and to my long time friend and amazing artist Andrea Scala, who gifted me with the entire album art.
