For decades, the analysis of Latin America’s political and cultural developments has been dominated by frameworks that often oversimplify the region’s complexities, relying heavily on binary political ideologies and Eurocentric theories. This article critiques these traditional approaches, highlighting their failure to address the deeper social, cultural, and historical roots of Latin American realities. It introduces a novel cross-sectional model, grounded in the cultural legacies of Iberian colonization, particularly the Organic and Liberal Traditions.
