🎻 Live performance by Vox Cordis – “Donna ti canto”
An intimate moment on stage: Pier Luca Montessoro leads with soul and presence, while the violinist delivers a stirring solo that captures the heart of the song.
“Donna ti canto” is more than music — it’s a tribute, a voice, and a feeling.

Thanks to , today we discover Le Songe de Cleopatre: part of the posthumous cycle Trois Femmes de légende—is a piece that remained unpublished during Mel Bonis's lifetime. Typical of Mel Bonis's musical language at this time, the piece fully embraces Orientalism and seems less to tell a story than to layer impressions. At times languid, menacing, playful, or exalted, the dream episodes are interwoven with great mastery of composition and a certain modernity of tone. It is worth noting that while Mel Bonis did not have Cleopatra in mind from the very first sketches of this work, she had long occupied her imagination: photographs taken in 1887 of the musician dressed as the Queen of Egypt attest to this.

Our family of artists is enriched by a remarkable singer: Giada Campione 🎶🎤🇮🇹

Giada Campione (Battipaglia, 1997) graduated in Classical Singing with highest honors (110/110 with Distinction and Special Mention), distinguishing herself early on for her vocal versatility and stylistic awareness. Throughout her academic training, she developed a strong focus on both operatic and Baroque repertoire, building an intense concert and performance activity in these fields. In the 2024/2025 academic year, she was admitted to the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, confirming a steadily growing artistic profile.

She made her operatic debut in February 2025 as Genoveffa in Cenerentola by Cristian Carrara, on a libretto by Maria Grazia Pani. In the same year, she took part in the international Project B.U.T.T.E.R.F.L.Y at the Teatro Comunale di Modena, Operabox in Helsinki, and Opera Bałtycka in Gdańsk as a coloratura soprano cover. In August, she debuted as Adina for Verbicaro in Lirica, and in December 2025 she performed Il delirio amoroso by G. F. Händel and the Pastoral Cantata by Alessandro Scarlatti for the Festival Barocco delle Marche.

Her repertoire includes numerous roles from the eighteenth- and nineteenth-century operatic tradition, such as Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare), Servilia (La clemenza di Tito), Lakmé, Norina (Don Pasquale), Cunegonde (Candide), and Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro). She has appeared as a soloist in major concert settings and musicological conferences, including the annual conference of the Italian Society of Musicology, and has participated in several sacred music productions and recordings, among them the Magnificat by Cristoforo Caresana.

Deeply committed to Baroque performance practice, she collaborates regularly with the baroque ensemble Emiolia of Salerno and was selected for the Baroque Program of the Accademia Chigiana in Siena. She has attended masterclasses with leading artists such as Sonia Prina, Eva Mei, and Michele d’Elia, and is a prizewinner in numerous national competitions.

Did you know?
Saint-Saëns originally wrote Danse Macabre for piano four hands before turning it into the famous orchestral showpiece.
In this version, every tremolo, every sinister motif, every ghostly swirl becomes pure, raw energy at the keyboard.

🎹🔥 Duo Ondine unleashes the full power of this masterpiece — four hands, one heart, and a whirlwind of dark elegance.

Turn up the volume… the dance of the dead has never sounded this alive.

Welcome to the ! 🎹🎶🇮🇹

The Dipthycon Duo is made up of Anna Fiore and Carlo Martiniello and it began its four-hands piano collaboration in 2022, making its debut the same year within the PianoCity Napoli project with a program ranging from the 18th to the 20th century (featuring music by Mozart, Schumann, and Poulenc), enriched by G. Kurtág’s Bach transcriptions for piano four hands.

From the very beginning, the duo undertook the study of four-hands repertoire at the International Academy of Music in Rome under the guidance of Professors K. Bogino and L. Pietrocini, where they continue to refine their artistry. They also attended the chamber music course at the Avos Project Academy under the guidance of M. Montore, as well as masterclasses with A. Lonquich, U. Schneider, and S. Gramaglia at the Naples branch of the “Alessandro Scarlatti” Association.

In 2023 the duo performed in Campagnano di Roma for the Alto Lazio Music Academy and in Colleferro for the “Farandola” Music Association, presenting programs ranging from Mozart to Rachmaninov. In October 2024 they performed as part of the 28th edition of the “Autumn Concerts”, held annually at the Lutheran Church of Naples, with a program dedicated to dances (featuring works by Brahms, Grieg, and Rachmaninov).

They won second prize at the 29th “Giulio Rospigliosi” National Piano Competition (2023) and first prize at the 10th International Piano Competition “Ischia” (2023) and at the “Pietro Argento” International Music Competition (2025).

Today we are pleased to welcome Maestro Antonio Scandurra, a truly versatile and visionary artist who combines the refined sensitivity of a pianist with the solid authority of an orchestral conductor.

Trained at the “A. Corelli” Conservatory in Messina under Maestro Gaetano Indaco, he graduated with top marks and continued to refine his artistry through masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Michele Campanella, Alexander Hintchev, Roberto Cappello, Pierluigi Camicia and Francesco Libetta. His career already includes numerous chamber and symphonic performances, including Pictures at an Exhibition with the Conservatory Orchestra in 2018 and the Petite Messe Solennelle in 2021 for the 800th anniversary of Saint Anthony’s arrival in Messina.

His journey in conducting began with Maestro Orazio Baronello and continued with Bruno Cinquegrani, with ongoing refinement under Francesco Ommassini. Among his most significant productions stands the Romancero Gitano by Castelnuovo-Tedesco at the Teatro Vittorio Emanuele.

Since 2022 he has served as Artistic Director of the “Città di Spadafora” Music Band, promoting high-level projects featuring soloists from institutions such as the RAI Symphony Orchestra, Teatro alla Scala and Arena di Verona.

On 3 August 2025 he will make his operatic debut conducting Cavalleria Rusticana at the San Benedetto Opera Festival, followed by his debut at Teatro Vittorio Emanuele on 18 November 2025 with Beethoven’s Fifth Piano Concerto.

In 2025 he founded and became Maestro Concertatore of the Orchestra Numero Zero, an ensemble created to unite tradition, innovation and artistic research.

A warm welcome to Maestro Scandurra and to the exciting musical path we will share with him.
