The venue, located on Via Mella, has been the scene of numerous violent incidents in recent months, including brawls and assaults involving minors. The situation escalated with an attempted murder that occurred on December 24th during a heated argument. Law enforcement has been forced to intervene frequently to maintain order, diverting resources from regular territorial control.
The decision to close the venue was made in response to the requests of residents who are exasperated by the atmosphere of insecurity created by the uncivil behavior of the club's patrons. Sartori emphasized that such incidents cannot be tolerated and that this measure is aimed at protecting the safety of citizens and ensuring a secure environment for everyone who wishes to visit bars and nightclubs without fear.

Tractor fire in Roveglia: intervention by the Fire Brigade

A tractor on fire raised concerns on the afternoon of Monday, June 30, when flames engulfed an agricultural vehicle equipped with a sprayer near a vineyard in Roveglia, located between Pozzolengo and Desenzano. The fire broke out suddenly, necessitating the urgent intervention of the Firefighters to prevent the blaze from spreading further. Fortunately, there were no reported injuries.
Two teams of firefighters, one from Desenzano and the other from Castiglione delle Stiviere, quickly arrived at the scene, assisted by the Local Police of Pozzolengo. Thanks to a coordinated operation, the fire was extinguished, although the tractor sustained significant damage. To ensure safety during the firefighting efforts, the road connecting Pozzolengo to the hamlet of Rovizza was temporarily closed to traffic, causing delays in local traffic.

Local closure in Desenzano del Garda for public safety

The Chief of Police of Brescia, Paolo Sartori, has ordered the closure of the Art Club in Desenzano del Garda for 20 days following serious incidents of violence, including a brawl that culminated in an attempted murder and several robberies occurring within the establishment. This decision was made after a complaint was filed by local residents, who expressed concerns over the increasing public insecurity in the area. The attempted murder took place last December on Christmas Eve, while recent assaults have been linked to alcohol abuse. Additionally, patrons have reported thefts and robberies of valuable items.
Despite the Art Club being a historically recognized venue, founded by Carlo Tessari, who passed away in March 2024, the authorities deemed it necessary to intervene to ensure the safety of the community. Just a month ago, the Chief of Police had already ordered the closure of the Biblò Club in Lonato del Garda for similar reasons.

Summer activities for seniors: Lazise by the sea with success

A group of 25 seniors from Lazise spent a week of relaxation in Pinarella di Cervia, thanks to a collaboration between the local municipality and the senior citizens' association. This initiative, which has been very well received, allowed participants to enjoy summer activities such as swimming in the sea, evening excursions on a train to the harbor, and visits to the Salt Museum and the Maritime Tower. The seniors also had the opportunity to enjoy moments of conviviality at local restaurants, savoring traditional Romagnolo dishes.

Theft at the supermarket in Gavardo: urban DASPO activated

A man residing in Prevalle will not be allowed to set foot in Gavardo for the next three years after stealing food items from a local supermarket and threatening a cashier during his escape. It was around 9:30 PM when the Nautical Team from the Salò Detachment, part of the Provincial Command of Brescia, was alerted to rescue two individuals on board the drifting boat. Weather conditions were rapidly deteriorating, with strong winds and rough waves, creating a potentially dangerous situation for the passengers.
Thanks to the promptness of the responders, the vessel was reached, and the two occupants were brought to safety without sustaining physical injuries, although they experienced a moment of great anxiety. The boat was subsequently towed to the port of Desenzano, where the emergency interventions were concluded.

Truck fire in Sommacampagna: quick intervention by the Fire Brigade

This morning, July 1, moments of concern were experienced on the A4 motorway, in the Sommacampagna area, due to a fire on a truck transporting batteries. The incident occurred around 10:00 AM when the vehicle began to catch fire near the Monte Baldo service area. Thanks to the quick thinking of the driver, who managed to pull over onto the emergency lane, no injuries were reported. After ensuring his safety, the man contacted emergency services and initially attempted to extinguish the flames.
The Verona Fire Brigade quickly arrived on the scene, extinguishing the blaze and securing the truck in a short time. Fortunately, the incident did not impact traffic flow, allowing vehicles to continue moving regularly along the motorway. The causes of the fire are currently under investigation.

Pool incident in Lazise: drama and health emergency

Brescia hosts the Radio Onda d'Urto Festival with live concerts

The Radio Onda d’Urto Festival is set to take over the festivities area on Via Serenissima in Brescia, from August 6 to 23, featuring a rich lineup of live concerts. The main stage will host around fifty performances over eighteen evenings, with highlights including Coma_Cose on August 10 and a rap showcase on August 20 featuring Night Skinny and other artists. Tickets for these two nights are already available, while entry for the other dates will be free or based on a subscription to support the broadcaster, which is celebrating nearly forty years of activity.
The event goes beyond music: in addition to concerts, there will be discussions, book presentations, and workshops for children, making the festival a cultural landmark. Among the international guests, 47 Soul will perform on August 7 and Fantastic Negrito on August 8. The program also includes special events like "Canzoni Resistenti" on August 17, commemorating the Liberation. The festival will close with performances by Modena City Ramblers and Radici nel Cemento on August 23, promising a memorable finale for this year's edition of the festival.
