The Inconsapevole Records Manifesto.

Crediamo fortemente nel SUPPORTO RECIPROCO tra le band, presupposto fondamentale per far parte della “famiglia”. Non abbiamo mai firmato un contratto con nessuna band che ha collaborato con noi e mai lo faremo. Dischord Records e l’attitudine di Ian MacKaye sono per noi punti di riferimento costanti. Non promettiamo la luna e voliamo bassi perché crediamo sia il miglior approccio quando si parla d

i musica indipendente in Italia. Allo stesso tempo pensiamo sempre in grande e non ci poniamo limiti facendo sempre le cose con entusiasmo. Non poniamo vincoli alle band, solo quello dell’onestà reciproca. La musica è importante, ma le “persone” lo sono maggiormente: non c’è spazio per chi si crede di essere la nuova rockstar del momento. Inconsapevole Records se ne sbatte delle “tendenze”, supporta e promuove ciò che le piace e le persone che se lo meritano. Inconsapevole Records è una realtà in cui credere ed identificarsi, non un’entità da sfruttare solo ed esclusivamente per promuovere la propria band. Non ci sono vincoli di genere anche se abbiamo gusti personali che devono essere rispettati. Dopo anni di lavoro abbiamo deciso di costituire un’associazione culturale e siamo riusciti a far nascere una struttura che si avvale di uno studio di registrazione e di un ufficio stampa/booking. We of the Inconsapevole Records strongly believe in reciprocal support among bands and this we regard as the essential prerequisite in order to belong to the “family”. We never signed a contract with any of the bands which have coworked with us and we never will. Our key reference points are the Dischord Records and the Ian MacKaye attitude. On one hand we won’t promise to our bands the moon and we rather hold on to a down-to-earth approach because this, we think, is the most appropriate, straight forward perspective when it comes to the Italian independent music scene. On the other hand we try to aim high and not set ourselves limits by always doing what we do with true dedication and passion. We do not and never will require any commitment from the bands, except for sensible reciprocal respect and honesty. We think music is very important, but people are paramount; therefore there is no room in Inconsapevole Records for self-acclaimed new rock stars of the moment. Inconsapevole Records will never be bothered with music fashion trends; we will only support and promote what we like and the people that deserve it. Inconsapevole Records is a reality in which to believe and hold on to and not some kind of entity to exploit for the sole benefit of promoting one’s own band. (To be part of the Inconsapevole Records) there are no prerequisite dictated by music genre, but we have our own tastes which are to be respected. After several years of work and continual commitment we agreed on starting a cultural association and eventually succeeded in giving birth to an organization which avails itself of a recording studio and a booking/press agency.

Cominciano le selezioni per la seconda edizione del 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱, la rassegna pensata per dare spazio e voce alla nuova generazione di musicisti under 25. L’iniziativa si propone come una celebrazione della musica giovane e indipendente, offrendo un palco a band e solisti emergenti che abbiano in repertorio almeno un brano originale.
A differenza dei format competitivi, 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 non si configura come una gara, ma come un’occasione di visibilità, confronto e crescita artistica. L’obiettivo è quello di valorizzare il talento giovanile, favorendo l’espressione musicale autentica e la creazione di contenuti professionali per i partecipanti.

𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 si rivolge a un pubblico ampio e trasversale, con l’intento di offrire uno spaccato delle nuove voci musicali locali. Non ci sono limiti di genere: rock, punk, pop, indie, elettronica, folk… ciò che conta è l’autenticità dell’espressione artistica.

L’evento rappresenta un’opportunità concreta per artisti emergenti che desiderano misurarsi con un contesto professionale e presentare la propria musica a un pubblico nuovo.
