“The Day We Went to the Stream”
The first day Joshua Stellar Maris came to my house was something I’ll always remember — not just because she’s a brilliant content creator, but because she came with someone even more special: her younger sister, my fiancée.
There was a unique kind of joy in the air. Joshua walked in with that signature energy — camera hanging from her shoulder, eyes scanning everything like life itself was a scene waiting to be captured. Her sister, my love, stood beside her, already at home in my space, her presence grounding and warm.
We talked for a while, laughed a lot, and then someone — I can’t remember who — said, “Let’s go to the stream.”
And just like that, we were off.
The walk was full of light-hearted teasing, deep conversations, and small silences that said more than words ever could. Joshua paused every so often to take photos — of leaves, of her sister and me walking hand-in-hand, of the sunlight breaking through the trees. She saw beauty where most would pass by.
When we reached the stream, the world slowed down. We sat by the water, dipped our feet in, and let nature hold the moment for us. Joshua laughed when her sister splashed her, then turned serious for a second and said, “Moments like this — this is what I live for.”
That day wasn’t just about spending time — it was about belonging.
Joshua as the storyteller.
My fiancée as my future.
And me — quietly thankful to be right there with them.
“The first day Joshua came over with her younger sister — the love of my life — we ended up at the stream.
No plans. No pressure. Just peace, family, and memories I’ll carry forever.
Like, comment, and share if you’ve ever had a day that felt like a forever chapter.” 💧✨
