Tomorrow, Saturday, September 7, my new documentary *"People of Ikaria"* will have its **first screening** on the island of Ikaria. A special moment for me because it has been an intense and wonderful project, which began last September and will finally see the light tomorrow.
But why a documentary about the people of Ikaria?
First, because it's not really an island, but a mountain in the middle of the sea. And also because it's the island of Icarus.
And then, because it’s a place that holds the secrets of human longevity.
Ikaria is, in fact, one of the 5 **Blue Zones** on the planet, rare lands where people live beyond 100 years.

- Ogliastra, Italy
This documentary is a deep dive into the daily life of a unique island, suspended between myth and reality.
Each story, each face tells a fragment of this extraordinary island, which among many other incredible things, also holds the secret of eternity. 💙
