: "What can I say? Good that we have two days of testing ahead. We need that and hopefully we can figure out what the problems are. Overall it wasn’t an easy weekend for us having said that, at the end of the race we had the same speed as the guys in front of us but there was only so much we could do with that. Me going wide in lap 1 didn't help, but after the start I desperately tried to gain a few positions but it was slippery and I went wide. Pretty disappointing, but as I said, the test will hopefully help to turn things around.”

: “I don’t know more than you, only what I know. I think the conditions were a little bit more tricky than this morning, but it’s the same for everybody. There is no major issue, it’s just that we are lacking a bit of grip overall, and unfortunately we just didn’t have the speed today. We went faster than we have done all weekend, but unfortunately it just wasn’t fast enough. We struggled a bit with the set up at the beginning of the weekend, but then FP3 was quite okay. Then the conditions changed and this made it difficult for us. On one hand I’m not happy, on the other hand we tried everything. : ”That was a difficult day for us, with lots of issues here and there. At the end of FP2 we understood the car a bit better, but we still have a lot of work to do for tomorrow’s qualifying.”

: "Just to clarify, that I think first we were out of the spec, we did a mistake. Perhaps you could consider that the decision was a bit harsh, but it’s like this. We have to clean in front of our door first. I think the mistake was on our side and for sure that we aren’t coming to Barcelona with the same wing. We changed the hook and the fixation."

•[Fred Vasseur confirms that they changed the hook on the front wing that was deemed to have flexed too much causing Räikkönen's disqualification. Alfa Romeo has put in place a permanent fix to the wing issue it encountered in Baku to ensure Kimi Räikkönen's exclusion from qualifying in Azerbaijan isn’t repeated at the Spanish GP. Iceman had to start from the pitlane in Baku after his front wing failed a deflection test on Sunday morning.
The wing had a problem with the flap adjuster hook on both sides, which was changed to a new specification for the race. Alfa had identified a component weakness ahead of the Baku race following a problem Kimi had suffered in an earlier GP. However, resolving that properly wasn’t possible during the run of flyaway races, hence a final fix being readied for this weekend's race. Aside from change the adjuster hook, Alfa's front wing has been upgraded for the Spanish GP. The team has revised the inner wing tips and the shape of the elements sitting between the flap adjuster and the endplate.]•

: ”The car felt good today, at least scored some points. In the end I lost the grip on the front tyres. It’s a shame because I was looking after them during the race. Obviously we at least got a few points and it is better than yesterday for sure. The car was handling pretty nicely, but in the end I just lost temperature in my front tyres. I think with my tyres the wear was very good, but it got too cold and I lost the grip in the front so I couldn't any more push. It was a bit of a shame as I felt we could quite easily have caught up with the other cars, but it didn't work out at the end.“

He was P7 on his ancient Mediums, and now on fresh Hards he has swooped past Kevin Magnussen and is P10. On for a good points finish again. Kimi Räikkönen continuing to carry Alfa. That long opening stint on the Mediums was stellar P7 with reasonable pace by the time he pitted on Lap 26. Alfa & Renault on same points, but Renault P4 due to a higher race finishing position. Kimi Räikkönen reckons losing temperature in his front tyres cost him the chance of finishing as best of the rest behind the top three teams in the Chinese GP. The Iceman came home right behind 7th placed Daniel Ricciardo and 8th placed Sergio Perez in Shanghai to claim the 9th spot. But he reckons he would have had a chance of overhauling the pair of them if he had not lost temperature in his rubber in the closing stages. Kimi said that his Alfa Romeo felt strong on race pace as he pushed through the field following a disappointing qualifying. While Iceman added to his points tally that leaves him seventh place in the world championship standings just one point behind Red Bull's Pierre Gasly his teammate Antonio Giovinazzi failed to finish in the Top10 again. But I had a good feeling in the last one, it was more how it should be. So we just didn't have the speed today.”

: "Pretty ok. I guess we got everything out of the car. Car felt good, in few places it was a bit difficult with the rear. If we would have more downforce we could go quicker but what we have it's decent result. We have made the most of the car today and we have done a good job, the car is going well, but we cannot predict what tomorrow's race will be like because we didn’t do any long runs during yesterday's second practice session. Is a key role in the race. I heard that its going to be stormy and windy tomorrow, really nasty. We didn’t do long run yesterdays with the problems we have. The weather could also be very windy so we’ll see tomorrow. But if the cars start in a train, it will depend on where people are positioned. Obviously we will find out tomorrow, you have to see what happens with that."
