Bread from the skillet is such a cool thing, especially when you're far from any supermarket! 🍞This time it was even more exciting because we experimented with watercress in the batter! Cooking with nature in nature, what more could one ask for? 😊🌱

It’s the first time we tried , and we love it!!! It opens the doors to a whole range of new recipes we usually enjoy cooking indoors. But now we‘re able to prepare them also outdoors! And honestly how cool is it to bake a cherry-strudel somewhere next to a hiking trail? 🍒 If only my grandma knew where the old family recipe would eventually end up❣️

Hey everyone ☀️ We thought about doing a little intro for the newly arrived here! We are Dominic and Maria👫
Two mountain kids from Italy that met four years ago and found each other through our shared love of mother nature and good food (and perhaps also some more things 😁💕)
We began spending more and more time in remote places seeking new adventures 🏕
But being on a 3,000m peak or backpacking around a small island in the Atlantic where you barely spy a human face brings its difficulties when the tummy starts growling 🏝So that’s how it all begun. Exploring new dishes for the outdoor kitchen became our passion!👨🏻‍🍳 Time flies and we got already our first cookbook launched on Kickstarter 📘

Wooho our outdoor cookbook has been released! 🥳 Over the past year, we've put our heart and soul in experimenting, optimizing and testing new recipes that are perfect for the outdoor kitchen. Now our backpacks are full of colourful vegetarian recipes, we want to share with you 👨🏻‍🍳🧡

Oats patties - super simple, tasty and wholesome! We absolutely love these patties, we discovered them on our very first backpack trip when all we had left in our rucksack was an oatmeal package and a sad zucchini! Our stomaches started growling so we had to get creative! 🤔

By and by we refined the recipe with some more ingredients like bell pepper, onion, and some spices! But the truth is theses patties are very versatile. Hence, you can throw in almost every veggie you got! And the taste is on point, that’s all that matters!
