If you have not late backed projects before, one thing to know is that late backing won't allow you to comment on the Kickstarter page, and you won't receive the Kickstarter updates as emails.

As such, if you late back, it is good to visit the Kickstarter periodically to check to see if there's anything that affects you (locking the pledge manager for instance).
