• Argento or Red?
This 1973 Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 was delivered new to the three-time Formula 1 and was Lauda’s first Ferrari. World Champion at the very start of his association with Scuderia Ferrari. Finished originally in Argento Metallizzato over Blu leather, it was registered in Italy under “EE 60519” and later brought to Austria by Lauda before being sold in 1975.
The elegant grand tourer retains its matching-numbers 4.4-litre V12 and five-speed manual gearbox. Believed to have been refinished in metallic red during the 1980s, it has since passed through a known chain of Austrian owners.
A fascinating piece of Ferrari and Formula 1 history, marking where Lauda’s Prancing Horse story began.
