A new chapter of Tocca il Futuro on features , the alias of Femke Dekker, an artist moving between experimental electronic music and contemporary art.

Her practice centers on listening as both method and material, exploring nonlinear sonic worlds driven by intuition and curiosity. She has held radio residencies on Stranded FM and Echobox, performed at venues such as Salon Des Amateurs, Meakusma, and Cafe Oto, and is also active as an educator and researcher.

For this 60-minute mix for Tocca il Futuro, Loma Doom builds a journey of soft bells, low growls, and dark moans. The set tries to take the listener through past, present, and future all happening in quantum time. Heavily influenced by Ursula K. Le Guin’s The Carrier Bag of Fiction, the mix listens in on itself and turns toward the non-linear, where beginning becomes end and end becomes beginning, all carried in a bag of stars.

Their exclusive contribution for LYL, titled “Only Blue Is Not Enough,” unfolds as a true spin-off of the record, revealing its sources and inner resonances. Bianchi reworks tracks from his light ambient trilogy — Colori, First Day/Last Day, and Dates — using electronic keyboards to shape them into hypnotic cycles. Ponzini layers cut-ups of reworked texts drawn from Carl Gustav Jung’s Seven Sermons to the Dead (1916) and dialogues extracted from Pier Paolo Pasolini’s Teorema (1968). The texts are recited by AI-generated voices, while Ponzini blends her own voice with subtle Japanese percussions and the surface noise of an old Rainer Riehn vinyl.

“The unprecedented encounter between Ramona Ponzini and Maurizio Bianchi for Tocca Il Futuro yields a work poised on the threshold between evocation and vertigo: a sonic device unfolding through stratifications, resonances, and semantic as well as acoustic collisions.

Maurizio Bianchi, a pioneer of the Italian industrial scene, chisels soundscapes built from abrasive, material noises, dissonant cadences, and atmospheres both dust-laden and rarefied yet simultaneously dense. The listener moves across these terrains as if navigating a landscape of ruins: sonic debris, distant echoes, reverberations functioning as unstable archives of memory. His practice remains faithful to the grammar of noise in its most concrete form, transforming chaos into a syntax that vibrates and breathes.

Upon this fractured yet fertile topography, Ramona Ponzini overlays her voice and texts, which become a dramaturgical substance in their own right. Some tracks draw upon haiku; others rework and sample.”

Today on , Tocca il Futuro welcomes Nocturnal Emissions for a 60-minute journey through ambient and experimental electronics.

Behind the project is English multimedia artist .nigel, a key figure of the post-industrial underground since the late 1970s. Active for over four decades, Ayers has developed a unique practice built from tape collage, electronics, field recordings and found sounds, creating immersive environments that explore perception, memory and altered states.

The show features unreleased material and collaborations with Allan Zane, Barnacles, Frag, Robin Storey, Progressive Station and PBK.

We are delighted to welcome CoH (Ivan Pavlov), a Russian-born musician and sound artist based in Sweden, to for the second Tocca il Futuro show of the year.

CoH is one of the leading figures in experimental electronic music, known for his explorations in ambient, digital minimalism and glitch. Active since the late 1990s, he has collaborated with artists such as Annie Anxiety, Cosey Fanni Tutti, Richard Chartier (in the projects Chessmachine and Nice Box), and the legendary British band Coil. In 2007, together with Peter Christopherson, he founded the project Soisong.
CoH’s releases have appeared on prestigious labels such as Raster-Noton, Mego, Dais Records, and more, establishing him as one of the most innovative artists in contemporary electronic music.

During this 60-minute show on LYL Radio, CoH has curated an immersive musical journey including music by Abul Mogard, Jon Hassell, Apparent Symmetry and more.

Tocca il Futuro kicks off its first show of the year on with Vū, founder of .
For this occasion, the show takes the form of a 60-minute deep dive into the Vūmantra universe, where electronic ritualism, experimentation, and dystopian visions converge.

Behind the name Vū is Vince Gagliardi, a Berlin-based producer of ethnic electronic music and experimental dark techno. In addition to founding Vūmantra Records, he is also the co-founder of Modern Bön and the creator of the audiovisual project The Nent (Cyclic Law), widely recognized for its powerful and immersive A\V live performances.

Expect one hour of dark, hypnotic, endarkening rhythms, unfolding into sonic landscapes designed for dystopian subcultures, where sound and vision merge into a contemporary ritual.
