Delayed trains, the need to re-route, discovering new places, ending up in a completely unexpected place, pushing your limits, bonding with people through a shared journey, stopping to appreciate the landscape... "Adventure" is a word that can take many shapes, but it often gets better once you let go of control.
What does ADVENTURE means to you?

Just spent a good amount of hours into nature and far from Wifi in Val Biandino with my favorite one (:
Rifugio Grassi have been a place I wanted to visit for a while and I cannot be any happier to have spent a night in that magic offline place.
Here are some takeaways from this two days offline into the mountains:
* Being present is easier when you don't have 1000 inputs from technology (turn your phone off every now and then)
* People does make the difference
* Living with just "the necessary" will make you appreciate a lot more what you have at home and hopefully use it more consciously (water, electricity, food) - this is also a thing I experience while bikepacking
* Your intuition is right, trust it
* Weather conditions can change a lot
* Bring enough food (and share it if you can)
* ALWAYS take the trash down
* Time passes in a different way when you have no screens to look at
* Be grateful, you might be seeing landscapes not everyone can see
Lastly, the route is about 22km x 1700m d+ in total
wouldn't recommend as a first experience in the mountains. Ask away if you need more info.

Couldn't have asked for a better way to start my birthday month! b3l delivered the gravel roads, views and challenges, while keep the food, the fun and the adventure on point (yes, all while taking pictures✨) was there too with her determination and kindness.
The rain didn't catch us, which was reallly cool as well.
All in all a great start with the eyes, the heart, and the life full of what matters.
Feeling grateful and happy to be out there riding in beautiful places

Second recon spot didn't disappoint, the sea was near and the flowers were blooming, it was the perfect mix of colours, gravel and climbs!
missing this places already 🌊🌺

It's been a minute around here, I'm back home now and ready to have a chit-chat with my thoughts and feelings on these past weeks.
Not gonna lie, I'm still buzzing from all the awesome energy, so let's start from the beginning.
I found my way into Spain to meet Sami by the end of April and do a recon of some Traka 560 spots, no surprise they were incredibly beautiful: the climbs, the nature and the people were an awesome touch to those breathtaking landscapes.
On the meantime I also became friends with a DVD cam, to film some nice footage you might (or might not 🤭) see anytime soon.
Also, by seeing again all these pictures and remembering the hours we spent out there creating in all sorts of ways I realize how lucky I am to be able to do this and to have a best friend that its literally a multi-tasking adventurer 😂😌 merci much

Sometimes it's just not that easy to put some thoughts or feelings into words.
It's not everyday (or year) that you get to participate on the "zero edition" of an event
Last year when asked me to design a logo for the ride I would have never thought about what was going to become.
It's just awesome when the friends you ride with become organizers of an event you're eager to participate in, it makes you realize all the effort and time you have to put in to make things happen.
This year though, the ride was different, it was rainy and muddy but I was lucky enough to be riding with the right people, so we made our way and had fun anyways, right?
Congrats to the Turin Hills Squad on making it happen, and specially to a.k.a Bob Milanacas, it was nice to see you on every checkpoint.

It was much more than a race weekend at
Some days have passed and I'm still letting it sink
I went to a feed zone for the first time by bike, learned about confusing riding routes, and got to see a MUD FEST movie in real time
But that is just the surface, the real thing started with a 91 pizzas menu and a tiramisù, camping with and laughing more than half of the time, seeing her arrive from a devastating muddy race to run and make pictures on the finish line, meeting .hannanah unexpectedly and sharing an unmeasurable amount of cookies while talking about random stuff with
The aftermath was filled with more fun, pasta and a bbq with people who really know how to have fun and enjoy food all-together
The cherry on top was visiting the headquarters before coming back home, what a place and awesome people!
I couldn't be anything but grateful for another awesome weekend out there, with rain, mud and everything things came out in a pretty awesome way.
A huge and special thank to Sami for making it all possible 🫶

FIVE THINGS you can find me doing in winter when I'm not on my bike (:
Days have been rainy and cloudy around here but I cant wait fur sunnier ones with higher temperatures to be back out for longer!

The last .round_italia of the season is done and dusted.
Another winter has gone by in which I've got to hug friends I haven't seen in a while, ride with new people, eat "ribollita" and "pappa al pomodoro" to recharge the batteries and all of it in a different scenario each time, from the Susa Valley to Milano-rubé, even if its very cold or rainy.

WHEN THINGS GET HARD
(find the positive perspective)
It hasn't been an easy or smooth start to the year. A lot of things are about to change for me work-wise and thus everything related.
It ain't easy some times to accept some changes, but they always bring new eyes to old matters.
Finding the positive perspective can be the hard thing to do every now and then, but it is also rewarding.
I'm now looking forward to what's coming ahead, to the sunnier days and the smiley faces after a good ride.
I'm learning more about the things that make me feel greatful and humble and I couldn't be any happier to be surrounded by such supporting and wholesome people.
