Devoid Of Thought were recently interviewed by our friends at Metalitalia! [in Italian]

We were all pleasantly suprised by the interest raised by JANVS comeback. It goes without saying it's well deserved, but these days we never take anything for granted.

The band just released a a first glimpse of Fatum Est, a detail from one of the tracks, “Bucefalo”.

A hymn to unconditional friendship, burning through cosmic void and the gods’ breath. Bucephalus was Alexander the Great’s indomitable steed, facing death with his master countless times, all across the known world. Until the end.

PYRRHON is an extreme metal band from New York known for their dizzying fusion of death metal, grindcore, noise rock, and free improvisation. Over the course of a 17-year career, they have earned a reputation as one of the most intense and innovative heavy music acts in the world. We already promised you that we will do everything we can to ensure that we will only offer one price level for 2027. In addition, we are trying to ensure that there will be no further increase in the ticket price. Maybe even a reduction by a few euros is possible. To ensure this, however, we won't be able to fulfill every single wish when it comes to booking acts. On one hand, there is enormous general cost pressure and on the other, the availability of well-known acts is limited. And securing these acts at reasonably affordable prices is becoming increasingly difficult. Unfortunately, quite a few bands or rather their agencies refuse to negotiate or consider factors such as the fact that we don't have a major investor backing us or receive subsidies like some others do, nor can we simply expand our limited capacity just by shifting a construction fence to enlarge the grounds. For these reasons, too, we will only work with bands and agencies where we don't feel - or actually get - ripped off. And believe us, you run into plenty of those. Especially those who completely overestimate their own market value and refuse to discuss playing in a comparatively smaller setting - even though it means performing for you, an enthusiastic, international audience. Ultimately, it has to work for both sides. We realize that bands are also suffering under the general cost pressure, but if they soon lose the foundation for live gigs because more festivals fold or give up, then stages everywhere will go quiet, or the only events left will be "giga-events" run by shady mega-corporations serving as money-printing machines for the super-rich. So let’s all stand together - organizers, bands, agencies, and fans - and develop more mutual understanding, so that in the end, we can all enjoy a cool event, whether on, in front of, or behind the stage. 👊

Another huge first from Avantgarde Music Festival 2026 @ Legend Club Milano: Moonlight Sorcery will have their very first gig in Italy (as well as one of their very few performances this year)!

The Finnish band is hard at work on new music, and our fest will be one of the few selected chances you have to witness their craft in 2026!

Only a few weeks to go till Avantgarde Music Festival 2026 @ Legend Club Milano, and one of the bands we are most excited for is definitely Severoth.

We've been working with Illia Rafalskyi's atmospheric black metal creature for years now, but this will be the very first time Severoth will perform in Italy. The show will also serve as the release party for the new studio record "Waves", scheduled for release on September 4th. The new single "Stars Will Show The Way" is available for streaming worldwide.
