The Robiei-Stabiascio tragedy turns half a century old. It happened on the 15th of February, 1966 when 15 Italian workers and 2 firefighters from Locarno lost their lives. Their names are carved on a tombstone at the small church of All’Acqua, in Valle Bedretto.
