A few years ago, I wrote the script for a short film with the goal of capturing a tender portrait of adolescence—that swirling time of self-discovery, awkwardness, blushing shame, quiet thrills, and vulnerability.
A few months ago, I decided to bring that script to life through AI animation. It began as a pure experiment, an exploration, but when I showed the result to my producing partner, , she immediately fell in love with the protagonist, little Mike, and encouraged me to take it further.
And so here we are. Our short film “Mike and the Magazine” is about to premiere at the Out on Film Festival in Atlanta—and simultaneously at the Seoul AI International Film Festival. We couldn’t be prouder. 🌈🎬❤️
