This band, now on their third tour in just 18 months, has now recorded 10 tracks, featuring several unreleased pieces, most of them composed by Lou Marini.

Thrilled to share a truly special moment here at MU74 Studio! Yesterday we had the honor of hosting Lou Marini, the legendary saxophonist, composer, and arranger, in our studio. Lou Marini is best known for his work as a member of the Blues Brothers band, which gained fame through the 1980 film "The Blues Brothers" and its subsequent musical performances. Apart from his work with the Blues Brothers, Marini has played with musicians like Frank Zappa, Steely Dan, Blood, Sweat & Tears, and many others. His presence and his impressive talent, his explosive energy, made the atmosphere truly magical. Thank you Lou, it was truly an honor to have you here at MU74 Studio!

Happy 100th anniversary to the legendary Max Roach!

_'Pictures in a Frame' was recorded in 1979 at Studio Barigozzi (now MU74) for Giovanni Bonandrini's Soul Note. The genius behind the sound engineering was Giancarlo Barigozzi.

_Cecil Bridgewater, Calvin Hill, Giancarlo Barigozzi, Odean Pope, Max Roach in the Barigozzi studio courtyard during this iconic recording.

This incredible story, woven into every cell of that historic moment, continues to resonate and will undoubtedly live on forever.
