As promised, we’re closing out the year with one last release, and I truly hope it makes your heart beat as fast as it did mine. We’re talking about “Take It Back” by .
For those who don’t know them yet, Regal Beagle are a California-based band that’s been active for about 20 years now. Can we call them veterans? I’d say experience is definitely not lacking.
I first discovered the band almost two decades ago, when they released “A Little Tied Up”, produced by Joe from The Qu**rs , who also made a very welcome cameo on that record. Time has passed, and after a period of lower activity, the band is back in the spotlight with “Take It Back”.
They’ve grown up - they’re not kids anymore - but their love for punk rock, and especially Ramones-style three-chord punk rock, hasn’t changed. It’s simply matured, with greater awareness of who they are, what they do, and where they want to go.
When John at Mom's Basement Records, asked me if I was interested in distributing the record in Europe, I didn’t hesitate for a second. I didn’t even need to hear the songs first, I just knew it was going to be a killer record. And once the master arrived and I finally listened to it, there were no doubts left.
Regal Beagle are back - and ready to take it back.
“Take It Back” is out tomorrow on I Buy Records (EU) and Mom’s Basement Records (USA).

I Ratbones arrivano da Genova e Milano, e sono in giro dal 2003. Nati come tributo ai Ramones, nel tempo hanno trovato un loro suono e una dimensione internazionale, con tour in Europa, Canada e Giappone.
Hanno pubblicato tre album e cinque EP, mantenendo sempre un approccio diretto e fedele al punk rock. L'ultimo album è "Spaghettification" del 2025, pubblicato da I Buy Records (Italia) e Mom’s Basement Records (USA).

nascono in Finlandia nel 1995 da un gruppo di amici di scuola. Dopo un esordio con l’EP "Tales from the Underground" (1998), la parentesi con BMG Finland ("Beat The Odorants", 2003), la band si è costruita una storia
fatta di dischi e tour prima di prendersi una lunga pausa. Tornati in attività nel 2021, hanno pubblicato "When Tigers Used To Smoke" e "Love Songs Never Die" (Striped Records, 2024).
Dal 2025 la formazione vede anche l'Italiano Andrea Manges (The Manges ) alla chitarra e cori. Il nuovo singolo “We Belong Dead” è uscito giusto qualche settimana fa ed ha già incendiato i cuori di tutti, imperdibile!
