If, almost 15 years ago, when IBR was born, someone had told me, “One day, you’ll release one of your all-time favorite records,” I would have thought some fool person was making fun of me.
Well, the years have passed. IBR is still a small label, but that little bit of madness has become reality.

Saying that I grew up listening to the would be a massive understatement. Saying that Pat has become a great friend would be an even bigger understatement.

Releasing this record together with my brothers and lifelong friends at makes this little dream even more magical.
And yes, I still can’t quite believe it.

Originally released in 2003, Girl Crazy! marked the long-awaited return of the Beatnik Termites after several years away from the studio. The Cleveland trio picked up right where they left off, delivering their unmistakable blend of punk rock, power pop, and ’60s-inspired vocal harmonies across nine fresh, energetic, and irresistibly catchy songs.

The album features Pat Termite on vocals and guitar, Josh Yakunich on bass, and Reggie Silvestri—founding member of the band and founder of the legendary Insubordination Records—on drums. Together, they showcase the band’s mature songwriting and signature melodic style at its very best.

Making Girl Crazy! even more special is the appearance of an outstanding lineup of guest musicians, including Ray Ahn (Hard-Ons), Mass Giorgini, producer and owner of the legendary Sonic Iguana Studios, and Dan Lumley (Screeching Weasel, Squirtgun, Common Rider). The album was recorded at the iconic Sonic Iguana Studios, one of the most influential recording studios in the history of American punk rock.

This edition also marks the album’s first-ever release on vinyl. For the occasion, Girl Crazy! has been newly remastered by J. Powell at Steinhaus Mastering.

Featuring standout tracks like “Rock All Night,” “Amanda Tells Me,” and “Dream Girl,” Girl Crazy! is a testament to the Beatnik Termites’ remarkable ability to craft timeless songs filled with infectious melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and boundless energy.

An essential release for fans of melodic punk rock, now finally available on vinyl for the very first time in the definitive edition, with meticulously restored audio and carefully crafted artwork.

It only took me 14 years to change the IBR logo.
I'm usually not very comfortable with changing things, but this time I asked the mighty Riccardo Bucchioni Art to redesign it and make it different from the old one.

Why? Because I made the original logo myself in Paint... 14 years ago.

Starting in 2027, this is the logo you'll find on all IBR releases, marking the label's 15th anniversary.

Should I throw a party?

Maybe. Probably.

We'll see.
