Bottega Veneta SS27 Details, their signature fondant intrecciato leather made into a newspaper print notebook and newspaper holder.

For its debut runway styling, the design team drew inspiration from the shifting colors and textures of Milan’s changing seasons.

This focus on transformation is built directly into the bag’s architecture, it is fully reversible, featuring a tactile switch between the graphic Intrecciato leather weave on one side and a soft, contrasting suede lining on the other.

Catalina Sartor has always been drawn to enhanced beauty. The Buenos Aires-born, Paris-based makeup and SFX artist approaches beauty as a way of shifting identity, changing perception, and building entire characters through the smallest details.

Ahead of creating the makeup for the Matières Fécales SS27 show, we caught up with Sartor to talk about the instincts that brought her to Paris, her fascination with faces and bodies, the intimacy of working with performers, and the personal rituals that keep her creatively curious.

Fresh off winning the 2026 LVMH Prize, fashion’s current ~debutante Julie Kegels delivered a Spring 2027 collection built around gravity, weight and things falling out of place. “I wanted to explore falling in all its forms”, she told Vogue Runway.

She translated this mantra into oversized trousers, mangled dresses, sheer organza, and weighted details that shifted as the models walked in a clever contradiction in a collection built largely from fabrics that felt almost weightless. The result was a confident post-win show, equal parts assured and experimental, that made the momentum around Kegels feel very real. Julie Kegels’ trajectory will be one to watch as her career continues to evolve.

Dolce & Gabbana Raids the Archives of the Aristocratic Families.

For SS27, D&G blur decades of Sicilian dressing into one deliberately mismatched wardrobe.

Dolce told Vogue, “there are a lot of incredible aristocratic families, these families have beautiful clothes, and we love the idea of the granddaughter going into the family wardrobe and finding clothes from the ’20s, from the ’50s, from the ’70s, and mixing everything instinctively.”

That idea runs through the collection, where 20th-century glamour and present-day construction collapse into one another. Familiar Dolce & Gabbana codes become younger, stranger and far more instinctive.

At Bottega Veneta SS27, Louise Trotter continues to loosen up the house. Louise Trotter

Broad tailoring and heavier outerwear gradually give way to draped leather, crochet, lace, fringe and enlarged intrecciato, making the collection feel lighter and more exposed as it moves.

Bottega’s craftsmanship remains unmistakable, but the codes feel softer, less rigid and increasingly natural in Trotter’s hands.

At Gucci SS27, makeup artist Sam Visser turns the face into another site of excess. Eyes are smoked out in black, cobalt, turquoise, burgundy and almost-neon pink, dragged far beneath the lower lash line or packed into dense blocks of color, while lips stay glossy and skin relatively polished.

It feels like a subtle nod to, and revamp of, Frida Giannini’s Gucci, an era when models rarely seemed to hit the runway without a heavily smoked eye. Visser doesn’t simply recreate it, though he pushes it louder, dirtier and more saturated, reframing that familiar Gucci sexiness for Demna’s version of the house.

Fendi returns to one of its oldest obsessions with fur, but SS27 makes it feel louder, stranger and a lot more fun.

The runway included striped collars in black and caramel, icy blue, deep purple/brown and chartreuse are thrown over silk bralettes and leopard print coats, turning a classic house code into something almost punk.

Less of a finishing touch, more of the entire look.
