The first Channel of Radio France (ici) is now on air with the new Zenon-Media software suite. The web based new interfaces brings a big advantage in terms of security and deployment. The 180 workstations for the users where ready to use, as soon as their clicked on the zLauncher Webpage. No installation on their workstation or Laptop, all is handled over their Web browser, playlist editing, ingesting, cross mix preparation, logging access and many more. Access in the radio or from any location is as easy as searching some content in google.
“ici” is now playing as a national program and control 44 Zenon-Media playout automation in the region, for their local program and content splitting.
Management and deployment for all local stations is also done centrally over web based interfaces and doesn’t required any local action. New setup, new configuration is automatically pushed locally.
The radio France database handle 3 Mio items accessed from everywhere.
The next steps are engaged, all the 8 channels will migrate to Zenon-Media in a short future!
