This is Andante Svariato, the latest release of Filippo Bulfamante, a journey that begins with a childlike theme: simple, insistent, almost like a nursery rhyme.

5 Variations make the Andante Svariato what it is, a complex piece that asks itself where a melody goes when you let it ”wander”?"

On July 1st, 1925, Erik Satie left us — eccentric, poetic, and always ahead of his time.
One hundred years later, his music still resonates with us.
Admired by Debussy and Ravel, hailed as “indispensable” by John Cage, Satie’s legacy lives on.

Music performed by Giuseppe Azzarelli, "Satie: Trois Gymnopédies: No. 1, Lent et douloureux" out on Friday 4th of July.
