Since it’s been awhile, I thought I’d take a moment to properly (re)introduce myself. 🤝

Ciao ! I’m Melissa Lupo. I live in Milan, am half Italian/American and in San Francisco, people used to call me “City Girl”.

I’m the founder of CGC Studios a production studio and the Editor-in-chief of digital mag www.citygirlcooks.com , both focused on fashion and storytelling.

The name of the brand has been the same since 2009 but the mission has changed dramatically from its start in San Francisco to where it is now in Milan.

A brand name update has been in the works but until I’ve got it right, it might still be a while. ✍️🤓

For now, I’m going to concentrate on what we do at the studio and what we’re building at the magazine. Service and passion is at the heart of it all, wisdom and experience is what sets it apart.

Proud to be female founded, grateful to be among talented colleagues and clients.

Let’s make and find magic and stories and characters that last. ✨
