3 rescues operations with a total of 139 people last night by

Lastnight, The team rescued 139 people in 3 operations. Competent authorities were informed accordingly.

During the first rescue, 57 people were spotted in distress on fibreglass boats in international water.
As team moved everyone to the rescue boat, an unidentified boat came to area where 1 person jumped into the fibreglass boat and drove away.

Later on, 45 people including 2 children were spotted in distress on fibreglass boats.
While survivors were moving to the rescue boats, 1 person stayed and refused to be rescued, and was seen driving the boat away from the area.

Afterwards, 37 people were spotted in distress on a fiberglass boat.
While team was instructed to standby by LCG, people were seen jumping into the water, some were physically pushed by a person who later drove the boat away.
MSF team quickly and safely retrieved everyone.

Sea-Eye 4 arrived in Genoa The docked in the northern Italian port of Genoa a few minutes ago with 174 rescued people on board. The people were rescued from distress at sea in four different operations on Sunday and Monday. A further 57 rescued people were handed over to the Italian coast guard, who took them to Lampedusa. This is the second time in a matter of weeks that the Italian authorities have assigned Genoa as a port to the ship. On June 2nd, the NGO brought 51 shipwrecked people ashore there. Die SEA-EYE 4 hat am Sonntag und Montag (7./8. Juli 2024) bei mehreren Einsätzen insgesamt 231 Menschen aus Seenot gerettet. Unter den Überlebenden befanden sich auch eine Mutter mit ihrem Baby und eine im neunten Monat schwangere Frau.
