This release is a small gift from to the Pipe & Pochet community ❤️

Inspired by the spirit of Naples, it nods to “Tammurriata Nera”, the famous Neapolitan song written in 1944.

The original song uses the traditional tammurriata feel earthy, drum-led, and communal, to tell a very specific post-war story from Naples.

Here, that same energy is reimagined with a lighter heart: less history lesson, more street dance. It’s about rhythm, movement, and shared joy, a little moment of warmth, meant to be passed around.

Pipe & Pochet proudly welcomes (Asher Swissa) and (Omer Keinan) with their collaborative debut EP, Zurnado a two-track release where deep grooves meet modern electronic storytelling.

The title track, “Zurnado,” blends indie dance, house, and afro-inspired percussion into an energetic, driving journey made for the dance floor. Its companion, “It Goes Like This,” explores a darker and more atmospheric space, pushing deeper into late-night territory while keeping the rhythm alive.

Inspired by the zurna, one of the oldest wind instruments in human history, the EP channels its ancient spirit, a sound of transition, joy, and rebirth. Like the tornado, it embodies unstoppable energy: nature’s power meeting the power of breath. Both twist, shake, and connect earth and sky in motion.

Zurnado is that collision where sound becomes storm, and rhythm becomes life itself.
