FACTS ABOUT TERCHUONG GROUP AS OPPOSITE TO Koh Koang Manyuek'S MISCONCEPTION AND FASLE ALLEGATIONS ABOUT TERCHUONG.

‎Yesterday, on Wednesday, 27th May, 2026 — Koh Koang Manguek who was a press secretary in the office of the former governor of Unity State intentionally presented misleading information about Terchuong groups and H.E Dr. Joseph Manytuil under his article he titled "TERCHUONG, THE PRIVATELY OWNED PARAMILITARY CURRENTLY NEUTRALIZING DEVISION 4."

‎First of all, who does not know that there was present of Terchuong in Mayom County? Even President Salva Kiir himself knows about it.
‎He know that there were youths of Mayom County who came together and named themselves "Terchuong" in 2014, when Mayom County and the entire Unity State fall shortage of law enforcement agencies as some members of the national army forces, the police, the prison service, and many others rebelled in their thousands and decided to fight the national government under his leadership.

‎Just like Mathianganyor of Bar-el-ghazal and many others, everyone knew about Terchuong as a community-based defense force firstly formed by a group of patriotic youth who vuluteerly decided to come together in defense of their land from invadors or to serve their country and the leadership of President Salva Kiir from the threat of rebel forces who wanted to terrorize the country during 2013 – 2016 crisis.

‎Without Terchuong's selfless sacrifices, Bentiu would have never been recaptured from the rebels in 2014 as it was firstly fallen under rebel control and it wouldn't be the capital of Unity State today. So, why demonizing them today when they fought for an important cause?

‎To correct, Terchuong is not a paramilitary and it is not secretly owned by governor Manytuil and it have never been engaged in any extra-judicial activities as labeled by Mr. Koh.
‎ To consider Koh's wild claims that linked Terchuong to extrajudicial crimes like beheadings, rapings and burning alive, Koh must tell us whether he has ever been beheaded or burned alive by members of Terchuong. failure to produce such evidence, his false claims can not stand.

‎I never know that Koh Koang is such a big liar who lie to extent that even the truth reveal itself alone in the middle of his statement.
‎ To further prove that Mr. Koh Koang is a liar, he accused Terchuong groups for being involved in the recent killing of the people of Abiemnom when Terchuong was dismantled by his boss Riek Bim Top in 2024. so, which Terchuong again killed people in March of 2026 when it was no longer existing because it was already dismantled on gubernatorial order in 2024 by the for governor of Unity State?

‎Dr. Joseph Manytuil didn't own Terchuong at all. Terchuong is a community based group. So, Joseph Manytuil has never and will never conspire to use it as a threat against the national government when relieved from position. If he has such intention, he would have do that when he was removed from governorship by the President in 2024 because Terchuong there at that time. Dr. Joseph is a law abiding leader.

‎furthermore, the issue of cattle raiding among the six counties of Unity State and their neibouring Warrap state did not come to existence as a result of Terchuong. It's something practiced back home there for decades. The can't blame Terchuong for that because they were never been involved.

‎Finally, I urge the Facebook readership to regard all information published by Koh Koang in his article as misleading lies.

Capt. John Geng Mapuony, Former Tiger Division Officer

Capt. John Geng Mapuony, a former Tiger Division officer, is currently transferred to the National Security Services. He fought alongside the Government since the war broke out in 2013 up to now.

He was promoted to the rank of Captain in 2018. However, he was left out of promotion in his current unit due to tribalism, despite being hardworking and committed at his workstation.

The system is forgetting John despite his loyalty, sacrifices, and dedicated service to the nation.
He is one of the most hardworking soldiers, who never gave up balancing military duties and university at the same time.

Capt. John Geng Mapuony is a graduate of Star International University South Sudan, School of Business and Management, majoring in Accounting and Finance.

He is now pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in the School of Medicine, 5th year, at the University of Juba.

BREAKING: US imposes visa restrictions on officials who have 'undermined peace in South Sudan'

The US announced on Tuesday visa restrictions on members of South Sudan's transitional government, accusing them of undermining peace efforts and obstructing a landmark ceasefire agreement.

"These individuals have undermined peace in South Sudan, including by impeding the ceasefire agreement and engaging in corruption that has fueled the conflict," according to a statement by State
Department spokesperson Tommy Pigott.

The restrictions, imposed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio, targeted officials linked to the stalled peace agreement signed during President Donald Trump's first term.

The statement said that investigative bodies have documented how corrupt officials and entities have allegedly looted state funds and stolen foreign assistance meant for ordinary South Sudanese citizens.

Reaffirming Washington's commitment to the South Sudanese people, the statement said, "The United States will continue to stand with the South Sudanese people, who want to live in peace and dignity."

“We will continue to use all tools available to expose and promote accountability for members of the transitional government, SSPDF (South Sudan People’s Defense Forces) officials, and other individuals who steal from the South Sudanese people and threaten peace," it added.

However, United States government has not publicly released the names of specific South Sudanese leaders facing the new visa restrictions for allegedly undermining peace.

Unity State governor H.E Lt.Gen. Dr. Joseph Manytuil Wejang's vision to free Unity Stare from poverty has become a reality.

Today, Wednesday, April 15, 2026 — More than 30 trucks loaded with food supplies arrived in Unity State capital following the recent banning of illegal checkpoints and reduction of grains prices across Unity State on a gubernatorial order by the governor.

The donation of food items is a part of Dr. Joseph Manytuil's ongoing efforts to eradicate poverty by supporting vulnerable communities.

According to government reports, additional trucks are on the way to Bentiu, Rotriak, and Adok Port to further expand the distribution.

Note: This initiative aims to help reduce poverty and address food insecurity affecting the state.

THE RETURN OF H.E. LT. GEN. DR. JOSEPH MANYTUIL; THE BEGINNING OF THE ENDING OF POVERTY, INSECURITY, CORRUPTION AND INTER-COMMUNAL VIOLENCES IN UNITY STATE.

Before I take you further, let me thanks the President of the Republic of South Sudan for reappointing H.E Dr. Joseph Manytuil as governor of Unity State in times we needed him the most. This is the wise decision ever made.
When Dr. Joseph was decreed out on presidential decree in May 2024, Unity State decayed and everything remains at standstill. Only some few developmental projects started by Dr. Joseph were continued and completed but nothing new was established so far.

Instead, corruption moved to the highest peak where even junior state government officials disappeared thousands and thousands of dollars without accountability and heavy taxes were imposed on anything in the market including grains and other local food items. Unity State was almost submerged by water as there was no more efforts culminated for flood defense. As a result, Foods ratios rised and poverty rapidly engulfed all corners of Unity State, our communities became hostile against themselves and their neighboring communities, and cattle raidings became the topic of the days.

Now that the beacon of hope H.E L.T. GEN. DR. JOSEPH MANYTUIL returned, in his first five days in office as governor of Unity State, he issued a GUBERNATORIAL ORDER banning the heavy taxes imposed on grain traders and he also reduced the high prices of grains from 30,000 SSP to 15,000 SSP per tin. On the same note, he banned illegal checkpoints. This was viewed as bold decision only taken by a wise leader who understood the root causes of poverty and insecurity in the state.

Reducing food ratios to affordable prices will solve the problem of food shortages and our youth back home will never thought of looting or raidings cattle from their neighboring communities again since they can afford to brings food to their table with the little they have.

And never again that the tax collectors will continuely take advantage of our hardworking folks in the market by looting them through imposition of heavy taxes on them.

In conclusion, I urge the people of Unity State to rally behind H.E. Lt. Gen. Dr Joseph Manytuil regardless of political affiliations as he embarked on this new journey of peace, unity, development and reconciliation. It's the high time to place Unity State above our self-interests. LET LOVE LEAD!

The SPLA-IO forces of Sector 3 recaptures Akobo County HQ from the SPLM-IG with many losses on the regime’s side both human and military equipments.

The swift operations started with a precise attack at about 0530 hours and only lasted 50 minutes when Akobo finally fell.

Equipment captured in good condition:

1. Two military pick-up trucks (not mounted).

2. Three military pick-up trucks mounted with 12.7 each.

3. One military pick-up truck mounted with (BM).

4. Two heavy military transport trucks.

Several small and medium range weapons were also captured in good condition.
The human loss on the regime’s side is more than that of Yuai and Pajut clashes combined.
