Words can’t describe my emotions.
Receiving the biggest award of Filmmaker Global together with the recognition for Best Elopement Film is such an incredible honor.

My heartfelt thanks to all the judges for believing in my vision, and to the organizers – especially Kostas and – for the amazing work behind the scenes.

Behind every film there are sleepless nights, sacrifices, countless miles traveled, and total dedication. Sometimes it feels impossible, but that’s exactly where the most beautiful results are born.

These awards are not a finish line, but rather an extra push to give even more, with the same passion that brought me this far.

Being the only Italian in the global Top 10 fills me with pride. Placing third in my first year of competition is even more rewarding. This third place is not a final goal. Today, I’m more determined than ever for 2025.

How Did I Get Here?

My story can be summed up in one word: WAITING.

I’ve waited for many things in my life that never came. I’ve faced a lot of suffering over the years and often thought I wouldn’t make it. Periods of solitude, accidents, financial struggles—challenges that loomed like mountains. I never imagined I would reach this point.

This work, which is my passion, has been my salvation amidst those difficulties. The struggles I faced have shaped me into an extremely empathetic person, someone who can quickly grasp the situation at hand.

I owe the most to my wife , who has always stood by my side, supporting and enduring me. She is an incredible woman. I wouldn’t be here without her. I also want to thank my colleagues and my two dogs.

I’m grateful even to those who tried to hinder me, to those who said, “You won’t make it,” and to everyone who shut the door in my face. Through all this suffering, I believe I’ve managed to create something beautiful and unforgettable for all the couples who have chosen—and will choose—to embark on this wonderful journey with me.
