Here is worth some good knowledge and true audio drama

https://www.facebook.com/share/1CmyVJ82vQ/?mibextid=wwXIfr

High-resolution audio has been one of the biggest selling points in the streaming and download market for years now. Labels stamp "192kHz/24-bit" on albums like it's a quality guarantee, and plenty of listeners have spent real money upgrading their libraries and gear to match.

The assumption has always been straightforward: more data means more detail means better sound.

But a growing number of top-tier audio engineers and researchers have started pushing back on that assumption, and not just on theoretical grounds.

Several of them, including the creator of one of the most widely used audio codecs in the world and a Grammy-winning mastering engineer, have gone on record saying that higher sample rates don't just fail to deliver better fidelity.

They argue the format introduces specific, measurable problems during playback that most listeners would never think to look for.

And when researchers put it to the test with hundreds of listeners across different skill levels and high-end playback setups, the findings were decisive enough to make the claims hard to defend.
