Underground Label Vinyl Only Detroit Side is the house and techno label brainchild of Italian based producer and DJ Giacomo Pellegrino.

Founded in late 2016, this independent label's mission is clear. To champion high quality music and respected live events versus a disjointed discography and uninspiring parties. Detroit inspired, with a deep passion to be presented with a music first approach, the label strives to stay true to the underground scene and sound. While still early in the label's history, Detroit Side has already forg

ed a strong foundation in their half decade existence. Vibrant artists like Delano Smith, Ocu, Enrico Mantini, Dixia Sirong, Monika Ross, Hansel!, Bassa Clan and Pellegrino himself, have all made key contributions to the genesis of the imprint. The list of remixers is equally as robust and carefully chosen. Names like S.A.M., Franck Roger, Nick Beringer, Julien Sandre, Moreon & Baffa among others, have lent their talents to heighten the status and grow the reach. Presented only on vinyl, the focus on integrity from Giacomo Pellegrino and Detroit Side is for an organic and natural growth versus some kind of lackluster social media approach or promotion that could get lost in the scrolling. This mantra carries over to their high-spirited parties as well. Encouraging their artists to express themselves through their sounds in the most optimum live environments they can find. The attendees to these parties certainly appreciate the attention to these extra details making them a trusted name in the club circuit. The sound of label is highly-addictive tracky pieces with the perfect amount of tech and atmospheric minimalism that works ideal for energetic dancefloors. Detroit Side is here with their latest superb compilation entitled 'Limited'. Spread over a two disc set with 19 songs in total, this release is overflowing with great music from a terrific list of amazing artist's. Without singling out any particular artist, just browse down the list and recognize some of the best out there making deep electronic underground sounds. A fantastic array of sounds that bridge deep thru the sub-genres. There are some lovely scenic ambient pieces here and there are plenty of hypnotic melodic groovers as well. Whether you are on the dancefloor in the early morning, late night or huddled up on the coach soaking in the frequencies, this compilation hits on so many levels. There is an overarching euphoria to all of these tracks that are almost heavenly. A crisp, brooding next level depth and mastering approach that fills in the entire audio spectrum with attention. A real treat for audiophile's everywhere. Detroit Side wish to thank all the many outstanding artist's and other's who had a hand in the collecting of the content for 'Limited'. Techno and house music never sounded as good as this. One of the strongest compilation's you will hear this year.
