Automechanika Shanghai 2025 was one of the largest editions to date, powerfully demonstrating how the Chinese automotive industry is now setting the pace for the global sector. The four-day event, from November 26 to 29, filled the entire National Exhibition and Convention Center
(NECC) in Shanghai, signaling growth, technological leadership, and a high level of internationalization. With 7,465 exhibitors from 44 countries and regions, the fair grew by approximately ten percent compared to last year, consolidating its status as Asia’s largest hub for spare parts, accessories, and workshop equipment. Alongside major international names such as Bosch, ZF, and Mahle, numerous Chinese suppliers use the platform to showcase everything from classic wear parts to highly integrated e-drive components, increasingly positioning themselves as global technology providers.
The 2025 edition places a focus on electrification, software, and networking: more than half of all exhibitors showcase products and services related to electric vehicles and New Energy Vehicles (NEVs), making the industry’s transformation tangible. The “New Energy and Connectivity” area, featuring battery modules, power electronics, charging stations, high-voltage cables, and intelligent chassis systems, will provide a comprehensive showcase of the Chines.
