Onoratə di poter organizzare l’After Party per Life design festival

Ci vediamo prima al Terminal Gallitello delle Ferrovie Appulo Lucane per una performance audio video con Keng e Simone Marolda e poi nel nuovo Club di Potenza Substratosfera (Viale del Basento) per l’after party con Max Maktz Caggiano e Scarj con la partecipazione di FX di Tuttidj

In collaborazione con e con il supporto di nel nuovissimo club .strato.sfera vi presentiamo Life After Party.
Sabato 7 Giugno dalle 23:30 ci spostiamo di pochi metri dal Terminal Fal del Gallitello per uno show audio-audio video tra l’electro e la techno melodica.
it .caggiano e faranno vibrare il Substrato per poi connetterlo come fa il micelio. Spore di idee ed Echo di suoni saranno accompagnati dal visual show brandizzato Life.

KENG~, born Maurizio Caggiano, is a dad, science and information technology teacher, producer,
multimedia creator, percussionist, decorator and composer. The project was born in 2005, with a small
EP, Wysiwig. Many participations in festivals (also international): Electrowave 2007, Soudhills 2007,
Metromaritmica 2007 - 2008, Flussi - media art festival 2009 - 2010, Potenza Soundscapes 2009,
Arboris 2012, Sonica Dance Festival 2014 / 2015 / 2017, Human Evolution Festival 2015, 100 Scale
festival 2017, Lucania Music Festival 2017, Lucus Fest 2019, Lucus Fest 2022. In 2009, notable, is his
opening live (about 2 hours of live) for the presentation of MURCOF’s then latest work, made for the
fountains of Versailles (The Versailles Sessions). In 2009, he realised his dream and built a music
production studio. In 2013, Maurizio is one of 10 musicians to perform the European Premiere of John
Cage’s score ‘A dip in the lake’ at the Teatro F. Stabile in Potenza. In November 2015, he founded
BASIC Records (Basilicata Sound Innovation Community), an independent record label, cultural hub
and mixing, audio mastering and multimedia production studio focused on experimental, psychedelic
and avant-garde music. In 2016, he obtained a master’s degree as a Mastering Engineer from Berklee
College Of Music in Boston, with top marks. Maurizio is the sound engineer at BASIC Records, handling label management, artist management, mastering and release distribution. Since 2005 when Maurizio was interested in electronic experimentation, IDM and glitchcore, his style has evolved towards the electro-acoustic and ‘musique concrete’ scene. His performances are always a journey into the world of psychedelia, gliding from ambient to progressive psytrance to the darker and faster sounds
of forest psytrance and hi-tech (under the pseudonym Spappolacervelletti). His influences are disparate, each of his live shows is also shaped by interaction with the audience, which leads into parallel realities, alien soundscapes, sidereal or tribal harmonies, as the case may be.

MAKTZ’s sets are a journey through various classic rock influences with a massive triplets wall of sound from psychedelic techno to joyful full-on morning.

He creates music since he was 10, at the beginning on the guitar, then on the drums, synths and piano; today he uses all his music knowledge to create intense and emotional djsets and collaborate with some producers.

Maktz is BASIC Records’ head of communications and strategist.

🎶 🔊 RAVE, storia di una parola che unisce

Il termine “rave” nasce dal jazz e trova nuova vita con il Million Volt Light and Sound Rave, evento psichedelico del 1966. Qui i Beatles presentarono “Carnival of Light”, un esperimento sonoro di Paul McCartney, che includeva suoni non convenzionali, voci distorte e percussioni. L’opera, mai pubblicata ufficialmente ma di cui sono disponibili numerose informazioni sul sito di Paul McCartney, rappresenta un momento chiave nella sperimentazione musicale della band, anticipando le libertà creative della scena rave.

Da allora, il concetto di rave si è evoluto: dalla house di Frankie Knuckles alla techno di Juan Atkins, dalla ribellione della tekno con Spiral Tribe all’energia psichedelica della psytrance con Goa Gil. Il termine negli anni ha anche indicato i cosiddetti “Rave Party” quindi eventi che si svolgono senza autorizzazioni, ma oggi la Generazione Z ha dato al termine tutte le sfumature di significato di cui abbiamo parlato fin ora insieme: “To Rave” diventa sinonimo di libertà, autenticità e comunità, a prescindere dal genere musicale.
