Simon Balestrazzi - Music For "Appunti Per Il Sole".

Originally composed as the sonic environment for Daniele Albanese’s movement performance, this album is a vertiginous rhythmic architecture built on cycles of growth, repetition, and renewal. Balestrazzi treats sound as unstable matter, generating a dense, synthetic landscape that explores the threshold between motion, energy, and deep listening.

The physical edition is a meticulously crafted 6-panel digisleeve CD, accompanied by a 16-page booklet.

Heimito Künst - Vol.3 is OUT NOW.

Today, we finally unlock the gates to the new parallel universe built by Heimito Künst. Vol.3 is officially out in its entirety on Dissipatio.

If you've been following the journey, you know Heimito’s roots run deep into visionary literature—from the madness of Roberto Bolaño’s The Savage Detectives to the ruined worlds of Antoine Volodine. This time, fueled by the clinical obsessions of Thomas Bernhard, the sound mutates into something incredibly physical and tactile.

We left the atmospheric drones behind. This record is a massive, alienating psychedelic trip. It’s an analog beast driven by Moog, Korg MS20, Mellotron, and Farfisa synthesizers, all anchored by relentless drum machines, electric bass, and magnetic tapes.

A perfect example? Listen to track 3, "Put the mask and go out": the magnetic tapes create a heavy, haunting connection to the rawest no-wave sounds. It’s an album that digs deep into the tradition of sound research to inject new, weird life into the sounds of the future.

Moving away from the pure literary homage of his past works, Heimito pushes into incredibly physical and radical territory. Deeply rooted in Thomas Bernhard’s literature (The Lime Works) and the clinical study of the Urbantschitsch method—a 19th-century auditory rehabilitation technique for the deaf—this track is an obsessive repetition of stimuli where analog synthesizers and relentless heavy drum machines take center stage.

This is just the beginning of a profound new journey.
